Yep, their parent company, Wilton Products (of cake decorating fame) announced that the Dimensions plant in Pennsylvania will close by the end of 2009.

See - http://wfmz.com/view/?id=661113

There's nothing on the Dimensions Crafts website - although I would note that the company doesn't ship outside the U.S.A..

If you fancy a Dimensions cross-stitch or needlepoint kit, I'd recommend getting your hands on it ASAP. I know that I will be doing so!

Anyway, its been ages since I've done a round robin and I'd really like to get one together. Anyone interested? Theme? Ideas? Etc?

I finally got a decent picture of the piece that Deborah ([info]violet1949) sent me.

Isn't it great? I love Shepherd's Bush. And her sewing is perfect. Thank you so much Deborah!

As an aside - there are still three pieces not received. I will follow up with those people (again) tomorrow. If you have mailed or received but have not let me know, please do so. :)

Cheers,
Shelley

Hello, all,

I just wanted to let everybody know that we still have five pieces not received. At least there has been no post here and I have not gotten any e-mail regarding them. Of those, two have been mailed. They are traveling overseas, so a little more time should be allowed. On one, the piece will be mailed Wednesday. I have e-mailed the final two stitchers for an update. One is out of town until July 24th. I've also sent e-mail to those who haven't received their pieces.

If you DO receive your piece, please be sure to post to the group.

Everybody has been doing such amazing pieces!

Thanks,
Shelley

I wanted to say THANK YOU for the awesome peacock needle roll from Shell [info]dragonsflame71. I absolutely love it, as the peacock is one of my totem birds.

Thanks for the goodies, too! Very thoughtful of you.

Shell, let me know if you need me to post a pic. I can do it, if you would like.

Thanks.

I was away on travel last week and so I missed the delivery of my package from [info]spy_isis. My husband told me there was a package from drugstore.com that came in and I was wracking my brain to figure out when I got stuff from them ;-). As soon as I saw the package though I knew that it was the exchange _and_ I got to open it on my birthday :-D. click for pic )

I got it!  Well, them.
[info]maid_in_bedlamsent me two things.  She said she couldn't decide which to do so she did them both!  A Stonehenge bookmark and a Sun ornament with daisy fabric on the back and major beading on the front.  Daisies are my favorite flowers, by the way.  They're both so beautiful I can't stop looking at them.

Let me know if you want me to take pics, or if you did before you sent them.
