How did you get into the X-Men:

* If you post a picture, icons, or any type of graphic, please use a cut tag, as sometimes the images are too large and can disrupt viewing.

* Respect other members of the community at all times. If there is a problem, report it to moosie and they will handle it. Hate/bashing/discrimination will not be tolerated, and there is no warning.

* Spoilers (even spoiler art) for upcoming issues must be placed behind a cut tag.

* Keep it clean and nice. When possible, keep profanity and other obscene forms of expression to a minimum.

* And, whenever possible, refer a friend and promote. This is not necessarily a rule, but by all means, new members are encouraged to help a community thrive.

* Also, *as of 04/01/05* If you are promoting a community or a website (RPG, etc), please contact (E-MAIL) the moderator first. Once ok'ed by the mod, please use LJ-cuts for large pictures or long posts. Posts will be deleted if not abiding by this.

***Icon Contest Info***

Rules

1. There a 2 contests per month. Both will be Individual Icon Contests.
2. Icons must be about the THE THEME IN PROGRESS.
3. All submissions must be placed as replies to the THEME post by the deadline date mentioned in that post.
4. All replies will be screened until the deadline, so that everyone's work is seen at the same time.
5. Everyone is free to enter up to 3 entries, but each entry should be in a separate reply.
6. Once a contest ends, the post containing all icons will be added to the XMEN_FANS Icon Page
7. Have fun with it. No matter who's entry is chosen, everyone who enters is a winner in my book.

As of April 1st, this is how the contests will be maintained.

Icon Contest (1st Contest of the Month)
Themes announced on the 1st of the month by 5pm P.S.T.
Entries no longer taken and entries unscreened on the 15th of the month at 5pm P.S.T.
Voting ends and winner announced on the 20th of the month at 5pm P.S.T.

Themes announced on the 15th of the month by 5pm P.S.T.
Entries no longer taken and entries unscreened on the 28th of the month at 5pm P.S.T.
