Challenge 38 [05.09.2007 7:38 pm] rarity The revivial of xmen_duos. I thought we should start back up with a header contest. :) The specifics: - All headers must incorporate the theme of the community, duos. I don't care what way you choice to incorporate the theme but it must be obvious. - All headers must have the height no more than 500px and no less than 200px. The width must be no more than 700px and no less than 500px. - Any brushes, text, textures, and other effects are welcome. (as for text, any is perfectly acceptable. It would be ideal if "Xmen_duos" or the like is on the banner, but it's not mandatory.) - No animation. - You must be a member or watcher of the community to participate. - Sumbit as many entries as you'd like. This challenge ends Thursday May 17 at 10pm EST. (First, second, and third place and a mod's choice will be awarded. And the first place, with permission from the maker, will be used for the new community layout.) I'm sorry it look me so long to get this community back up and running. xmen_duos is on haitus [01.26.2007 11:49 am] rarity I hate to do this. Truly and deeply -- I hate to do this. But I haven't been paying enough attention or being the best mod here, and I do feel the participants and the community in general deserves a mod who is doing the best they can. I am not looking to give away the community, however, at this time. If I decide to take a longer hiatus than two months, I will then just give up the community, but since I've had it from the beginning and watched it thrive and become better as well as watched the gourgeous icons flow in, I'd detest to actually rid myself of modship. I might look for a co-mod to do biweekly challenges and rotate with me, but that's still only a possibility. Nothing has been decided as of yet. I play to reevalute what's going on with my life and where my truly intentions and interests lay before I make any rash decisions. All banners, winners, voting, challenge, ect, should be fully up-to-date at this time. Let me know if something isn't so I can remedy that. Also, thank you to all the wonderful members, voters, participates, and icon makers that make this community. I'm merely the mod -- the community would not exsist without the lovely members. :) So thank you. I'll be back in a month, most likely, but two months at latest.
