One other reason why I'm posting this here is because... in order to get our partridge in our pear tree, we'd like to get more donations for stuff so that when we launch, it doesn't end up looking like my tiny malfunctioning Cherenkov Shrine! So~.... - Do you find yourself obsessed with someone on this character list that isn't taken up? We'd like character write-ups. - Do you have screenshots from the game that you yourself have taken? I am a huge Xenosaga fan and I have been considering the creation of a huge Xenosaga fansite with a forum. A community, if you will. But I can not maintain it by myself. If anyone is interested in helping me with this project, let me know. I already have the template pretty much designed, and can code it. The whole site will probably use wordpress so there is no need for any staff to know coding whatsoever. Just me haha. Anyway these are the types of staff I'm looking for: -Scaners (People with Xeno Emissions, the Perfect Guides, and the official manga will be instantly hired. Will also consider posting translated doujins) -Media uploaders (Anime, Sound Track, etc) -Content writers (people who can write character bios, articles, and pages about all things Xeno) -General updaters (add whatever you have) -Graphic Resourcers (People who will post Xenosaga/Gears related icons, renders (pngs), wallpapers, etc.) -Forum Help (Mods, Global Mods, etc. Someone who could help me set it up would also be nice.) Disc Trouble? [ May 1st, 2009 at 6:42pm] profpendragon [ mood | confused ] Okay, long story short, my 360 is going to be gone for a long time, perhaps forever. ;.;  I still have my vast PS2 library, but my PS2 itsself gave up the ghost a long time ago, so I went ahead and got a used unit from Gamestop.  It's an old model, with the big ol' expansion bay so I can plug my old HDD into it.  I decided, while my 360 was in exile, to try and play the whole Saga from start to finish.  I put my old Xenosaga Ep 1 disc in... and it read... and read... and read... and eventually just gave up.  It got as far as the PlayStation 2 logo, then just refused to read. >.>  I wondered if the new/used PS2 I'd gotten wasn't bad, so I tried every other game in my library, probably close to 20 games, and all of them loaded and played properly.  So, saddened, I decided that maybe my XS1 disc had just bit it-- which didn't make much sense, as it didn't look too bad, but I found my way to Gamestop anyway and found a used copy they had of it.  I brought it home and played it for a few good hours, right up until the s**t hit the fan on the Woglinde.  I shut it down for the night, then the next night sat down to play it, again, from the new/used disc.... PS2 logo... spin... spin... spin... spin...   Same problem as with my last disc!  I tried it several times, but it refuses to read now, too.  Is this a problem endemic with XS1 discs, or did I just happen to get a PS2 that doesn't like them? ;.;  Has anyone experienced a similar phenomenon when playing?  One other anomaly I did notice is that during the opening acts of XS2, when I was trying different games, there was a clip with chaos and Canaan talking where their vocal dialogue stopped, as did their mouth movements... but the characters kept moving, as did the scene as a whole.  Funny, I don't remember open telepathy like that happening in that scene. o.O
