You're not. Fetishes arise from things both familiar and strange to us, and popular culture has made images of aliens and hi-tech wonders very familiar indeed. It was almost inevitable that some of us would get our libidos tangled up in things that don't exist yet. While we're waiting for the future to arrive, this community is here to share and discuss fantasies of the sexy, shiny, spacey, and surreal.
GROUND RULES:
1) Though the community is mainly intended for people who are attracted to non-humans from fantasy and science fiction, anyone is welcome, even primitive Terran fleshlings. :)
2) Debate is encouraged -- even about the morality of xenofetish -- but personal attacks and flamewars are strictly forbidden. If you can't present your ideas politely and respectfully, then don't present them.
3) Similarly, if somebody questions your ideas in a civil manner, please give them the benefit of the doubt and remain calm. I will not censor people just because they disagree, as long as they're making a good faith effort to contribute to this community.
4) If you post copyrighted images, please try to at least credit them to the artist and link to their source if possible. We want to encourage these people. ;)
5) Replicants are required to register their serial numbers at the door.
6) Violators of Rules 1-5 will awaken in a sleazy nightclub on Beta Pegasi IV, padlocked into a serving wench's outfit, amnesiac, and convinced their name is "Bubbles" -- unless they'd enjoy it. |
