Who: Yuuko, Himawari {Open}
What: Sitting around..?
When: late afternoon
Where: the shop~

Spaced out was one way to describe her current condition, groggy was another. As she sat on the porch staring up at the sky she couldn't help but distance herself from the world. No sound came to her ears and she had started to lose track of time. She let out a sigh and finally looked down, staring out at her front yard.

She felt like something was going to happen, then of course, she always did. [no, she isn't paranoid] And here she was sitting on her porch with her elbows rested on her knees and her head hung down. She'd discarded her traditional kimonos and various other dresses for plain black jeans and a red dress shirt. The Witch just thought it was time for a change, less oriental..

She yawned and stretched, letting out another sigh. Yea, I guess the fact that I'm bored is sinking in finally.. She thought to herself, drumming her fingers against the wood of the porch. Something needed to happen or she was going to lose her mind. [not that she ever had it]

Who: Watanuki, Doumeki {Open}
What: Walking home
When: after club activities
Where: Around town!

Watanuki's fingers drummed irritably against the handle to his school bag. Doumeki always gave him the same command: Wait for me after school so we can walk home together. Every day. And while the seer wasn't too sure if he was just irritated at being commanded to do something, or that he was irritated because the fact that Doumeki had to repeat it so often meant that he thought that Watanuki would forget the command and just walk home, the order always made him annoyed. He wasn't that forgetful, was he?! Recent memory loss aside.

And so there he stood, bento box at his feet because it was too cumbersome to hold the whole time, waiting like a little girl for Doumeki to come out of his practice. God, did he take a long time on purpose?! Just to test him?! Watanuki-sama is not amused!!!

Who: Arashi, Syaoran {Open}
What: Sweeping...
When: Mid to late afternoon.
Where:Ise Shrine

Sweeping for her had always been a continuous process, a daily thing. Now, she was starting to get slightly bored. She sighed and slung her broom over her shoulder, staring out at the sky. She was still by herself, since Sorata was god only knows where.

Smiling faintly, she turned and started to walk along the path back to the shrine. It was peaceful, and she was content with that. There was no explosions, no battles just..peace.

However she wasn't going to knock it.

[WHO] Seishirou, Chii. [OPEN]
[WHAT] An outing with the new hunter sister~!
[WHERE] A cafe.
[WHEN] After being informed that she spends all her time on her lonesome D: Early afternoon.

Seishirou sat outside an unassuming little cafe, the sun shining a bit too brightly for his own tastes. He checked his watch and wondered where his newly adopted little sister was, but not a line of worry appeared on his face. Truly, the thought was amusing in its own way, considering that he barely felt attached to the family he already had, but there was nothing wrong with indulging the blonde girl. There was a certain fondness, or at least vague curiosity that came with such innocent, naive people.

WHO: Seishirou and Subaru [CLOSED FOR NOW]
WHAT: Seishirou invited Subaru out on a walk. Subaru obliged.
WHERE: The street near to Subaru's flat, near the cherry blossoms.
WHEN: Late afternoon.

The dull scent of afternoon was crawling in as the few people that were out walked down the street aligned with cherry blossom tree after cherry blossom tree. They didn't pay much attention to the young man stood under one of them- a specific one, no less. As Subaru had first reencountered Seishirou under this tree.

Part of him wondered... should he be doing this? Was it right to willingly go with Seishirou? It would hurt Kamui, he could easily be led into a trap.. but it hurt to think about. And Subaru was too hungry to think about it right now.

That was the other thing.. he had told Seishirou about his ever growing hunger, that had caused him a few moments of loosing all sense of reason over the past few days- short, blink-and-miss-it moments, but moments non the less. What to do... that was definately a predicament.

But he'd come none the less. He wanted to see Seishirou-san- no matter the dangers it might hold.

who ~ Zashiki Warashi (open to whoever wants to come~!)
whate ~ Off for a visit...hopefully...
where ~ Outside on some sidewalk, hiding behind a pole
when ~ Spring, MidAfternoon

She had heard he was flustering and flailing a lot recently. Some spirits said no more than other times, but it worried her. She had gone over in her mind if she had done something and hadn't come up with anything which was a good thing. And she also tried to remember if the Karasu-Tengu had gone after him for one reason or another, but as far as she knew that was untrue as well...which was another good thing. So it must be something else.

Ame Warashi had warned her to wait until she came back before heading out, but she had been gone quite some time and she was worried (well, not for Ame...she could take care of herself...but for him) so she slipped away and now was here...and now couldn't go any farther. What was she supposed to do? She should have brought him something...that's what one did, right? Or perhaps...She leaned against the large wood pole growng nervous, her hands clutching at her skirt. She should have waited for Ame...

WHO: Kurogane and OPEN for pestering [a certain piffle princess would likely have a key]
WHAT: Sleeping
WHERE: Place he shares with Fai? (I'm assuming they'd live together given their situation)
WHEN: spring, midday
WARNING: Grumpy!Kurogane

A brief session of meditation had reduced some of the ache the mechanical arm was causing him. At least in the privacy of the place he had to share with Fai, he could be left with some peace and quiet to rest for a couple hours. The poultices the Shinobi had been applying to the sore around the apparatus were helping with minor relief but if the problem wasn't dealt with accordingly soon, things would worsen.

The room itself was darkened, the door left open slightly in case Fai wanted something from the closet with the bed situated under the broad, shuttered window as Kurogane lay, eyes closed with his chest rising gently as he shifted some weight from the wounded shoulder to the other.

13 April 2008 @ 12:18 am
WHO: Seishirou and Subaru [Closed-ish?]
WHAT: Waiting, yet to be seen.
WHERE: Random Park
WHEN: Spring, Late Evening/Night

[ooc: Sorry for the lameness guys, but I want this comm to liiiiive. D: *CPRs*]

Sakurazuka Seishirou smiled to himself, the flame of his lighter temporarily illuminating his face before it fell back into darkness. He had been out in the open quite a lot lately. Coming across anyone who knew his face was a rarity, one that was often disposed of before it became problematic.

Syaoran and his fellow travelers knew him, but even he knew that if he tried to interfere with their journey, he'd have bitten off more than he could chew (though it was fair to say that he was no stranger to challenges). The Dimensional Witch knew his face, but there were boundaries she had to keep, and he had his own to respect. He didn't fear Fuuma, because, as little as it said, they were family after all. And the twins...

Well, they were the reason he was here in the first place.

And the fact that for in the last time he could remember with any clarity, they were in the same world as he, was enough for the hunter to both smile a little wider and reel at the same time. What was he going to do now that he had caught up? What was the best way to end this game, if he did want to end it at all?

The wind rustled the branches of the cherry trees, sending small showers of its blossoms over the bench he was sitting on, every petal almost aglow in the pale moonlight.

Subaru-kun? Did you know that there is a corpse beneath each sakura tree?

Cherry blossoms are normally white, as pure as freshly fallen snow. As the trees drink from the corpse, the blossoms turn pink. They are beautiful, and they are tainted.

This was long before he believed in vampire legends. Back then, the pale young man was just...special. Seishirou had yet to figure out why.

The people buried under the trees...are they suffering...?

He didn't expect anyone to find him there.

WHO: Sakura and real!Syaoran [CLOSISH?]
WHAT: Date number three!  AKA Birthday picnic for the love birds!
WHERE: The park
WHEN: Mid-day, April 1st

Sakura arrived at the park, wearing a simple white summer dress.  The weather had been so kind and beautiful that she couldn't resist and dig out her summer clothes.  Looking around the park, she assessed the possible perfect spot for her picnic with Syaoran.  She smiled softly: she was so happy she could spend more time alone with him again.  She had worked hard on his present and she couldn't wait to see his reaction when he would open it, even if she could feel the nervous fluster of her heart when she thought of it.

She chose to sit down below a blossoming apple tree and she started to set up the picnic.  She opened the red and white blanket before starting to unpack the food.  Vegetables, small sandwiches  and little fruit tarts she made in the morning were spread out, before she took out the two plates and the cups she had brought.  Lastly was the thermos of tea she had brew before leaving the café.  She arranged the food so that Syaoran and her could sit close to each other and still have access to it.  Once her task done, she brought her legs closer to her and sat still, watching the children play in the sandbox, the other couples enjoying the beautiful day with a stroll around the pond not so far from her.

Who:
Yuuko  and Seishirou [Open]
What: out for a walk
When: mid afternoon
Where: around....?

The Witch dug her hands deeper into her pockets as she walked, letting out a bored sigh. Usually she was perfectly capable of entertaining herself, but..something about today was different. She didn't know what, but it had gotten her restless.

At first she'd been able to ignore it by reading, but it eventually she started to shift and was unable to sit still, so she ended up pacing. Then she decided to take a walk. So, here she was, wandering around with no particular objective.

"gah...I'm so bored.." she muttered as she kicked a stray can out of her path, watching it skid across the sidewalk in front of her. "There's gotta be something to do..." she finished, thoughtfully. She paused in her walk, looking up at the sky feeling people brush past her on occasion.

"hmm." She raised an eyebrow, then shook her head, continuing on her walk.

Who: Tomoyo, Kurogane, Fai, and Mokona!Soel [Open]
What: Having tea and sake, and a pleasant chat~
When: A nice brisk evening! Still rather light out~
Where: In the park

Tomoyo sat with her legs folded under her, layers of skirt spreading out around her and over the blanket as she gave a content sigh and looked absently up at the fountain. A small, rather fragile cup sat right at home between her slender fingers--steam making a lazy path from the rim of the cup and spiraling upwards. A thick book lay open and abandoned in her lap.

Letting out a happy sigh, the dark haired girl lifted the tea cup to her lips and took a sip of the fragrant liquid. She had dismissed her attendants some time ago, but knew that if she didn't say anything, a certain someone would continue lurking behind her.

"Kurogane-san~" she called out in a musical tone, setting the cup down onto the small serving table that had been set up next to her. "You don't have to keep standing there--people might think you're an evil man who is out to get the poor defenseless Piffle President." Tomoyo smiled, despite the fact that her back was to the hiding ninja. "I have sake here for you, if you don't want any tea." The girl had figured ahead of time that Kurogane would be with her if he was tired of the cafe, so she thought ahead of time to bring his preferred drink (just in case).

WHO: Doumeki, Watanuki [open?]
WHAT: Delayed birthday wishes
WHERE: Moving from Yuuko's shop to the temple
WHEN: The weekend after Doumeki's birthday

Watanuki was fiddling nervously with the corner of his apron as he sat in the kitchen. Hopefully Yuuko-san was appeased enough with the snacks and he would be able to just leave when--er, gods, that's right, he was waiting for Doumeki. Undoubtedly, if Yuuko-san was bored enough, it could be another hour before he could go, especially once the archer showed up.

A cup of tea rest on the table next to his elbow, the steam slowly billowing from the top as it waited to be sipped. The kitchen itself was sparkling from the recent cleaning--the third since dinner had been served at 6:30. What time was it now? 7:22. Hmm.

The boy listened carefully at every little sound: a sign that Shizuka had arrived early, or that Yuuko-san was growing bored, or that the twins Maru and Moro were sneaking up on him to surprise him and tease him and---

Nervous? No. Of course not. Shizuka only wanted him to spend the night. There was nothing wrong with that, right? No, of course not. Of course not.

There was a sound from somewhere in the shop (wasn't there? What was it? Great, now he's hearing things), causing Watanuki to jump and nearly knock over his tea. Okay, maybe he was a little nervous.

20 February 2008 @ 02:17 am
WHO: Ashura, Yasha
WHAT: Waking up
WHERE: Ashura's house
WHEN: Morning after (yes, that.)

The sun was halfway successful in prying in between the cracks and seams of the sliding doors when Ashura woke up. The last vestiges of a dream lingered behind his lids like a heavy mist until his thick lashes, like the drowsy beating of a butterfly's wings, scattered the shadows and let in the sunlight. Yawning, he shrugged off the covering of heavy silk thrown over him like a net, and when his palms reached not warm skin but rapidly-cooling tatami, fear propelled him to sit up as if woken from a terrible nightmare. He looked around him, a tingle of panic resonating through his impressionable awareness as he looked for the body whose warmth he fell asleep in, but found no one inside the small confines of the tea room but himself. The lamps had already burned out and the lacquer tables had been cleared along with last night's feast, telling him that somebody certainly did not forget their duty and had probably walked in on a rather indecent aftermath.

For a moment, he had nearly accepted the possibility that Yasha's return was just a figment of his broad imagination. That is, until his body reminded him quite vividly that that wasn't so. A fierce blush rose to his cheeks at the memory, making him crawl under the make-shift blanket--which was his own kimono--and release a rather grave sigh.

"Where could he have gone?" he mused, but as much as he wanted to slip out of his cocoon, he decided to stay in it a little while longer. At least, just long enough to remember and remember and remember how Yasha had effectively shut him up.

WHO: TOUT LE MONDE!!!!
WHAT: Valentine's Day Picnic!
WHEN: The weekend after Valentine's day (aka 15th?)
WHERE: The park~

Tomoyo smiled happily to herself, clapping her hands before her as she looked out over the set-up that had just been finished. "Ah, it's perfect!" she chimed wistfully, reminding herself to thank her employees for doing such a wonderful job. As she had said before, she was a bit early--set-up had even gone so well that it was done earlier than she had planned.

Making sure that all the food and the drinks were stored away until the others began to show up, the Piffle Princess, dropped into her chair with a sigh. Her nimble fingers smoothed out the pleats on her skirt and she smiled. Today's picnic was going to be good--she knew it.

WHO: Himawari and Yuuko (OPENish?)
WHAT: Yuuko's found Tanpopo and Himawari's running over to get her.
WHERE: Yuuko's shop
WHEN: Mid-morning

She was running, running, running. It had been a while she had run with such speed and rapidity. The last time was then when he got hurt and it was her fault.

Most likely.

Tanpopo’s disappearance had raised a fearful doubt in her, a fear that maybe there really wasn’t anyone immune to her… special abilities, that maybe her grandmother really did die because of her, that eventually Yuuko-san and Doumeki-kun and even Mokona would be further harmed because of her.

Tanpopo’s reappearance somewhat eased her anxieties, and now she was running, leaping, flying to Yuuko-san’s shop, narrowly avoiding the street signs and poles that always seemed to jump in her way.

(Well, most of the time she avoided them. Some instances she actually did hit them. It wasn’t very pretty.)

Eventually Himawari found herself skidding in front of that strange dimensioned shop. It was hard to avoid such a traditional looking shop in the middle of a cement jungle, and she took a deep breath, smoothing her skirt and adjusting her necktie as she took a step into it.

“Yuuko-san?”

WHO: Fuuma and whoever wants to crash it~
WHAT: Walking around
WHERE: The shopping center
WHEN: Morning~Early afternoon

His head was throbbing when Fuuma came to work that morning, and the few cans of alcohol he had had the night before didn't help either. His festive mood allowed his night owl friends to take him out for a drink, but it was one can too late when he realized that his boss was going to have his head if he didn't go to work the next day decent and at least somewhat sober. So, as the sun rose higher in the sky, it became more evident that his headache was probably his punishment for being too happy. To add to that, he still bore the slap mark Kamui gave him--which he had fondly christened his "battle scar"--and was probably the reason why his female co-workers threw increasingly giggling stares in his direction. That they carried highly alarming and imaginative tales as to how he got it, however, made him rethink that last can...and a few more others that could--or should--have followed.

Taking a break from it all, Fuuma decided to resort to his usual reprieve, which was usually just walking around town and finding something to do. The day was clear and people thronged the streets, a colorful canvas Fuuma felt he could lose himself in as he thought of the night's previous events. In the last so many hours, he realized that all his thoughts led him to Kamui...and somewhat secretly hoped that his footsteps would lead him to the boy again. But of course, knowing Kamui...Feh. The saucy little vampire would just pass it off as a catastrophic twist that Fate's cruel humor was playing on him. One kiss was enough, after all. At least for the next couple of hours more.

"How much?" Fuuma asked a kiosk vendor as he held up a cross pendant. The old lady replied and he fished out his wallet to pay her, telling her to keep the change before he left. Nothing special. Just that the thought of a cross and it's supernatural effects on a vampire humored him.

I can't believe I was done in by this, he mused to himself as he followed the path leading as far away as his mind has taken him again.

Who: Sakura and Watanuki (closed? Tho you could invade if you want)
What: Making Valentine's Day chocolates!
When: A lovely day, after school
Where: Cat's Eye Cafe!

It had taken a few discreet conversations, but Sakura and Watanuki had finally set up a time and location to make chocolates for Valentine's Day. And it had taken a lot of convincing to make sure that Doumeki didn't try to follow him or take him back to the temple (as he had been doing a lot recently--though with their colds, they were still restricted to just... Ah, hmmm. The thought of them being 'restricted to just' sent an awkward flush across his cheeks).

But, one day after school, Sakura had invited him to the Cat's Eye Cafe. He had figured that the others would be out (and that hopefully Syaoran wouldn't come back, or the girl would probably be set into a nervous fit), and was glad that the cafe was set up with enough equipment to actually make chocolates. Once inside, he dropped his bag and his uniform jacket on one of the barstools and gave the girl a smile. "So, shall we get started?"

WHAT: Returning
WHERE: The sidewalk outside the shop/inside the shop
WHEN: at night

Sleep. That's all Yuuko wanted at this point. She yawned and stretched and in the process of doing this nearly fell over into the picket fence by her.

"geeze.." she muttered, her hand resting against the wood. She'd been this tired before, but usually did have that far to walk (No, she was NOT lazy.) she let out a sigh and began to make her way into the shop, dropping her shoes on the floor near the door.

she paused, looking around for a moment, her eyes scanning the area in front of her. "Watanuki? are you still here?" she questioned, shutting the door behind her and making her way deeper into the shop.

WHO: Sakura and real!Syaoran [CLOSED/COMPLETE]
WHAT: Date number two is go! Also the outfit he's wearing is similar to the icon I'm using right now.
WHERE: The pier, overlooking the sea.
WHEN: Late afternoon, most likely nearing sunset.

The air was still that afternoon and only a few passing birds could be heard overhead. The people passed by pleasently, on an evening stroll or just heading home from work. The weather had been kind that day, and the sun had beat down its rays until now, as it was slowly beginning to sink in the sky.

Syaoran was one of the few who wasn't moving with the crowd, and was sat on the railings that went along the boardwalk, his hands gripping the cold metal to give him balance. He'd tried his best to look somewhat decent, but had still ended up in a white shirt with a cross on it and baggy black jeans with trainers, a chain prodruding from one pocket - he doubted Sakura would mind.

He was looking up at the sky, half lost in thought, and waiting. He was waiting for Sakura to come - as they'd... in a sense, organized another date, and managed (hopefully) to keep it quiet. To keep it even more quiet, he'd come a while before she had done, and now he was left waiting for her to arrive, as he mulled over everything and nothing, and half noticing the slight fluttering feeling in his chest, like butterflies. He sighed slightly, and continued to wait.
