She chose to sit down below a blossoming apple tree and she started to set up the picnic. She opened the red and white blanket before starting to unpack the food. Vegetables, small sandwiches and little fruit tarts she made in the morning were spread out, before she took out the two plates and the cups she had brought. Lastly was the thermos of tea she had brew before leaving the café. She arranged the food so that Syaoran and her could sit close to each other and still have access to it. Once her task done, she brought her legs closer to her and sat still, watching the children play in the sandbox, the other couples enjoying the beautiful day with a stroll around the pond not so far from her.
She was running, running, running. It had been a while she had run with such speed and rapidity. The last time was then when he got hurt and it was her fault.
Most likely.
Tanpopo’s disappearance had raised a fearful doubt in her, a fear that maybe there really wasn’t anyone immune to her… special abilities, that maybe her grandmother really did die because of her, that eventually Yuuko-san and Doumeki-kun and even Mokona would be further harmed because of her.
Tanpopo’s reappearance somewhat eased her anxieties, and now she was running, leaping, flying to Yuuko-san’s shop, narrowly avoiding the street signs and poles that always seemed to jump in her way.
(Well, most of the time she avoided them. Some instances she actually did hit them. It wasn’t very pretty.)
Eventually Himawari found herself skidding in front of that strange dimensioned shop. It was hard to avoid such a traditional looking shop in the middle of a cement jungle, and she took a deep breath, smoothing her skirt and adjusting her necktie as she took a step into it.
“Yuuko-san?”
