Dislikes:arguements, people being upset/mean/bitchy/ignoring me. i have this little tic for being good at things, if i'm not i get angry. i hate making people upset/angry or not living up to expectations

Favorite Old Kingdom character? Why? I'm probably the only one out there but i'm a major sameth fan. he's so often looked down on but never looks down on anyone but shimself, he tries so hard to live up to his parents' and kingdom's expectations even though it's not who he is and somehow remains naive and (in my opinion) cut. i love his relationship with mogget (who's my second fave character, gotta love him) and how they contrast each other.

Least favorite Old Kingdom character? Why? OK, this is gonna make me even more unpopular but i really disliked Lirael *starts sandbagging* and the Dog *ducks*. She complains constantly, then complains about sam whining even though he's got more to complain about (book of dead making him ill, scared of death but exected to become abhorsen, missing friend, high expectations on him...). the dog was just a bit too fake and happy for me. I also (stop digging own grave dammit!) disliked Nick; he's such a bigot who refuses to believe what's in front of him, is stupid enough to fall into such a scheme and "falls in love" with someone he knows for all of an hour. please don't hate me

Hey, this is your negligent moderator speaking. I realize that people are still discovering this little nook and cranny that we keep to ourselves on the internet, and as of now, I am unable to moderate the community at all. Aside from that, I'm sad to say that I no longer count myself as a fan of the series as I've much grown out of it. I'd like to see it taken into the care of someone who can dedicate their time into mending and looking after the community for what it deserves.

If you are interested, please leave a message via comment directly to this post, and I will respond ASAP. Leave me any information regarding previous experience with moderation and so forth that you feel necessary.

Favorite Old Kingdom character? Why? Sabriel. I love how in the first book she just jumps right in to the problem without really knowing what to expect, or in fact knowing much about anything that she's getting herself into, and yet she comes out on top.
Least favorite Old Kingdom character? Why? Princess Ellimere. She was really mean and annoying in every single one of her appearances in the books. She just had no endearing qualities at all, and I just really don't like the character. I know she is necessary, but I think she could have been a little nice at the very end at least when they are at the second binding of orannis.

Hobbies/Interests: Reading, sewing (anything crafty, really; I also paint and quilt and make jewelry), singing. History and really old European literature. King Arthur, Dracula, and sometimes combining the two to write really long research papers. :)

Pet peeves: Bad grammar from people who should know better. People who aren't considerate of others' time and effort.

Would you use weapons? If so, what kind? I ♥ weapons. Quarter staff is my favourite, followed by short sword (I'm too little to effectively use anything bigger) I've never used a crossbow, but I'd love to learn.
If you could have any magical powers, what would you have? I have always wanted to be able to fly. When I was eight, I wanted to grow up to be a butterfly. (a blue one, with swallowtails.)
If you could be any animal, what would you be? Why? I'd like to be something pretty, like a snow leopard or a tigress, but I think realistically I'd be a cheetah. Smaller than the other 'big cats'...a fast runner, and very territorial. Not beautiful like a snow leopard, but interesting to look at. Not aggressive and powerful like a tigress, but seriously stealthy. Watch your back. :)
If stranded alone on an island, what three things would you need with you? Couldn't I just have Bear Grylls, that British special forces guy who does the Man vs Wild survival show? :) If not, I'd need...a knife, some sun screen, and a portable water desalination unit.
Would you risk your own life to save someone? Depends on the situation and the person. I would die to save my mother from a murderer, but not to save to save the kid walking down the street talking on his cell phone and not paying attention to the on-coming car. (Hey, I'd yell out a warning, I'm not heartless.)

Likes: I like animals, cats in particular, books, writing, anime, video games such as Kingdom Hearts or The Legend of Zelda, fantasy, and history/ historical fiction. I like lots of music, particularly groups like Evanescene, Within Temptation, Leaves Eyes, 30 Seconds to Mars, and 3 Doors Down. And I love chocolate. Lots of chocolate. I also have a recent fascination with Japan.
Dislikes: I dislike untrained dogs, rudeness, irritating people, rap, discrimination or racism of any kind, and sports.
Hobbies/Interests: I like reading, writing fantasy in hopes I'll eventually get soemthing good enough to be published, watching anime with my friends, and playing video games.
Special talents: Writing. I'm not really much talented at else. ^_^;
Pet peeves: People who don't have common sense. I also hate it when people refuse to listen to reason, or when they irritate others simply for the sake of irritation. I also hate sports fanatics- you know, the ones who are so into the game they're crazed. I also can't stand overly judgemental people, or those who condemn what they don't really understand.
Strong personality traits: I'm loyal, compassionate, and a good listener. I seem to be the type that lots of people come to to complain about their problems to. I'm good at taking care of those I care about. I can be goofy and silly at times, and can often make people laugh.
Weaker personality traits: I'm not very good with people. I consider myself to be a shy person around strangers. I'm also reluctant to put myself in the spotlight, and I can be a tad lazy at times.

Would you use weapons? If so, what kind? I've always loved the bow myself. I have even been able to use one for a little while, so that would be my first choice for a weapon. Swords are awesome too. I'd love a Charter blade like Sabriel's or Lirael's.
If you could have any magical powers, what would you have? Mmm, I'd love to be able to either See into the past and future, or to create illusions. That would be very fun to me.
If you could be any animal, what would you be? Why? Hard question . . . I love cats, so maybe a house cat, or a wild cat like a tiger. I love how sneaky they can be, and how they can just lounge around all the time. I could also enjoy being a hawk, because I would love to be able to fly the way they do.
If stranded alone on an island, what three things would you need with you? My books, a tent, and something to write with.
Would you risk your own life to save someone? Yes, if I felt they deserved to be saved.
Do you fancy any particular bell? Why? I don't know why, but I've always been fascinated with Astarael. It seems there is such a sad story behid that particular bell, and I'd love to know it.

Likes: i like animals and people who don't patronize others. i also like open people, and people who aren't afraid to take criticism or stand up for what they believe in. i like my own company most of the time, too, but whether that's a good thing or a bad one, i'm not sure. er. i also like reading and writing, as well as a lot of rock-y music. i like honest people and... archery. it's one of the only things i'm good at. i like drawing, too, but my creativity is usually limited. XD.
Dislikes: racists and homophobics. i don't necessarily dislike people who lie, but i do hate it when you give someone constructive critism and they have a fit. i hate getting up early, and i really don't like being obedient for the sake of being obedient. if my dad tells me to do something and i think i need to do it, okay, i'll do it, but apart from that... nah. i hate being called names, being labelled and otherwise stuck in a group or clique... whatever you want to call them. i don't like rebellion for the sake of rebellion either; just doing it to be "cool" or whatever annoys me.
Hobbies/Interests: archery. sleeping (if you could call that a hobby), drawing, reading. plotting out stories that i'm probably never going to write. relaxing with a movie, or reading.
Special talents: er. probably... helping people, but not in a good way. i suppose you could say i'm so blunt that it pushes people back into reality again. i'm also pretty okay at drawing.
Pet peeves: idiots. i hate people that ask questions, you answer them and then they ask them again and again. i hate it when things break just as i'm about to use them, and when i feel like reading a certain book and then i can't find it. i also hate it when i go to shower and the water's cold, too, which is weird but... oh well.
Strong personality traits: i'm blunt. when it comes to it, i don't care what people think. i like to get on with my life, and i'm also happy to say that i'm independent. i don't follow crowds. i can take critism (although if i think it's unfair and particularly harsh, i bite back) and i stand up for what i believe in. i'm argumentative and i'm also rather sarcastic; i also have a dry sense of humor. i can be laid-back, especially when it comes to work, and if i'm doing something i'm good at, i get confident and somewhat lazy.
Weaker personality traits: i'm stubborn to the point that if me and someone else argue about something, i won't back down. i'm argumentative and i've been described as apathetic. sometimes i'm self-centred and cocky. i get grumpy easily, i have a short temper and i don't like being told what to do. if i don't agree with something, i let that person know (sometimes not in the nicest way possible). if i can't be bothered to do something, i make someone else do it for me, and if i'm really angry, i get aggressive.
Describe yourself in three sentences: i can be nice when i want to be (or when i feel like it), but to some people, i come off as harsh and someone you don't want to be around. when it comes to the people i care about, i will readily step up and defend them, even if they're wrong. i like helping people, although my methods usually come off as trying to get in someone's way, and i can get irritable if someone does something wrong and i think i can do it better.
Favorite Old Kingdom character? Why? has to be... sabriel's father, actually. i like his firm nature and the way he's known as a different person to several people. his readiness to help others, even when his own life is in danger, is something i admire, and i think he's a very likeable character.
Least favorite Old Kingdom character? Why? hm. i would have to say aunt kirrith, only because i felt she was overwhelmingly controlling towards lirael. i understand that she lost her sister and everything (so she - in my view - wanted to stifle lirael's sense of adventure), but i personally think she didn't have to be so... i don't know... 'crushing' about it.

If you could be any animal, what would you be? Why? i'd probably be a leopard. i like their grace and the way they just... stare at you, as well as their fierce personalities and the way they survive in almost any terrain. they're adaptable; that has to be my favourite trait about them.
If stranded alone on an island, what three things would you need with you? i'd probably take my mp3 player, a few books to read and a tea-making kit.
Would you risk your own life to save someone? it depends on the situation. if it was a good friend of mine, yes, i would, but apart from that... no.

Why? saraneth. binding someone to your will sounds interesting, and i actually like the name of the bell, too. i'm not sure whether i'd use it for "evil" purposes, but if someone hacked me off, i'd bind them to my will and then force them to humiliate themselves as revenge.

Favorite Old Kingdom character? Why? Sabriel; surprisingly enough. This is an odd occurrence for me since I usually am not attached to the main characters in a series. In fact, I sometimes find them annoying. Sabriel to me, however, was just the right mix of courage and realistic apprehensiveness.
Least favorite Old Kingdom character? Why? I thought that all of the characters were interesting and worth including in the books, but I would have to say Lirael. I just really couldn’t connect to her character at all.

Dislikes: That species of tourist that insists on talking at the top of his or her voice, particularly in restaurants and museums. If stranded alone on an island, what three things would you need with you? ~~A speed boat, a map, and provisions. Or maybe a satellite phone, dvd player, and air conditioner (while I wait for the rescue I just called in). Actually, all I need is a volleyball. (T-T Wilson!)~~ jk Well, provided that I already have food and shelter, I'd definitely want something to read, music would be nice too, but it'd be hard to keep it going with out batteries so I'd probably settle on a guitar. I'd also want my stuffed animal sheepdog to keep me company. :D
Would you risk your own life to save someone? Yes, but not really in a heroic I-might-die-trying-this kind of way, more of a holy-cow-that-person-is-about-to-get-hit-by-a-bus-let-me-shove-them-out-of-the-way kind of thing. I have trouble thinking things through to the consequences.
Do you fancy any particular bell? Why? At first I really liked Ranna because it seemed so peaceful, but I'm also partial to Kibeth because of the Disreputable Dog, but only if it wasn't working against me.

Dislikes: being alone and having no friends nearby is abig one. and there's also baseball, boring weekends (i need to be busy. my band has an insanely busy rehearsal schedule, and now i can't not be busy), the "popular" crowd, and people who don't recycle or waste fossil fules just because they're too lazy to do otherwise.
Hobbies/Interests: music, writing, karate, reading, i like acting but i never had time to join a drama club, and being with friends.
Special talents: well, i'm starting to notice that i can get a friend to tell me what's wrong all the time, so that's kind of a special talent. and i can make almost any little kid love me. and i'm practically a genius in history. other than that, i can play saxophone and piano, i taught myself to play recorder, i can write fairly well, and that's all i can think of.
Pet peeves: i'm kind of ocd about a lot of things . . . like i can't stand it when the shower curtain is closed. other than that, people who leave cars running when they're not in them. is it REALLY that hard to just turn it off? YOU'RE CAUSING GLOBAL WARMING!!
Strong personality traits: well, i'm really nice and sensitive, i'll never lash out at someone no matter how angry I get, i work really well, and I can almost always be happy.
Weaker personality traits: I don't like myself, and I'm not confident enough to trust that someone will like me. As a result, I'm typically silent, and I don't have quite as many friends as I could have. Actually, I'm really not confident when it comes to a lot of things. there's more, but i can't think of anything right now. Except that i'm forgetful and a little irresponsible because of that forgetfulness.

Favorite Old Kingdom character? Why? that's hard. I love Lirael and I can relate to her sometimes. I love Sabriel. I love the Disreputable Dog but it always bugged me that the Dog did so much more for Lirael than Lirael did for the Dog. And I could never imagine the Dog as a her.
Least favorite Old Kingdom character? Why? that's also hard. i'll say Sanar and Ryelle because perfect people bug me, and they're the perfect clayr.

Famous or rich? well, i'm not someone who really wants either, but there isn't anything wrong with being rich. being famous would be annoying because everyone would be in your business.
Friends or family? friends. outside of my own house, i've never really been close to my family. and my family bugs me very often, anyway.

Optimist or pessimist? optimist, definitely
Leader or follower? i never really knew. I think that my ideas are often good, and I can think of organized ways to get things done, but I'm not good at being in front of people and bossing them around. On the other hand, I don't like blindly following anyone.

Would you use weapons? If so, what kind? Yeah, sure, I'd use weapons. I take karate and love it, and I'm sure other fighting arts are fairly similar. And I've done archery acouple times before and liked it. I guess I really don't have a preference on what kind of weapon.
If you could have any magical powers, what would you have? Um, I don't think I want any specific area of magic. It'd be better to be a regular charter mage, because they can do things in pretty much every area of magic.
If you could be any animal, what would you be? Why? Eagle. They can fly. And I don't want a normal, little bird. I'd rather be something majestic looking that can soar. And being a predator rather than prey would be nice too, even though I really don't like killing.

Ok, well, I am 167cm tall and a UK size ten. I have high cheekbones and a square jaw. I have dark brown, very curly hair and brown eyes.
