wx_meta - the OOC sister comm to westchester_x
This group is Westchester X Meta - and it’s META for a reason. It was going to just be OOC when we originally thought about it, a place for us to discuss, debate and chatter but it turned into a place for fangirling and squeeing in our heads so this is what we’ve got.
The rules for WX Meta are as follows:
-- Have fun. Please. That’s what we’re all here for, to express the love of our hobby and our characters and there’s no reason for unpleasantness or arguing.
-- If there’s a problem with another mun please do not bring it to attention on WX Meta. Send the mods an email. If we find out that this group is being used to flame or argue with each other in any way we’ll be using the three strikes method; two warnings and you’re gone. That’s pup and posting privileges both in WX and here.
-- No character posting in this journal. You can use your pup account if you want to post, but you’re posting here strictly as a mun. Seems common sense to us but just in case.
What this group will be used for:
-- Announcements. This could be announcements of a new plotline with ‘the villains’, it could be a mod announcing a change in the rules, it could be a mod announcing that someone is on holiday and therefore that mun’s pup will not be available for RP purposes for a short space of time (yes, we’d like to know if you’re going away so we don’t think you’ve dropped off the face of the earth - and let’s face it, in this fandom anything’s possible.)
-- Discussion. If the mods are planning a plotline or if something interesting comes up with a character, or if indeed, all you want to do is say, ‘Can I get an opinion on this?’ then WX Meta is the place to do it. Like Bamfie told you all in the adverts, generally we’re a friendly bunch (setting aside Logan’s delightful personality) and we like to get involved both as muns and pups.
-- Help. If you’ve a problem with icons, with journals, with a scene or maybe you’ve lost the thread in a RP and would like someone to offer an explanation - all you have to do is ask here. If your fellow RPers don’t get to you quickly enough then a mod’ll step in and try to give you a hand. (Again, personal disagreements should be settled either in private or through chat/emails with the mods.)
