Community Promotions

WWE Rumble, a round by round icontest community. People can make one icon per round and the contest is run on a point system.

Rules

1. All icons must fit the standards laid out by livejournal including the 100x100 standard.

2. Animation is not allowed, this is a stillness community.

3. Voting is nice but not currently mandatory. That being said if there is not enough votes it will become necessary, pending disqualifications.

4. Pay attention to the guidelines laid out for each challenge or you may end up disqualified from it.

5. Have respect for everyone in the community.

6. Promoting your community is not allowed outside of the affiliates request post which is tagged “affiliates”.

7. Please use only the .jpg and .png formats for your submissions.

8. Use the img src tags when submitting your entries to the challenges.

Information:
Challenges will be issued every Monday at some point during the day, sometimes as late as midnight to catch the Raw caps and digitals.

The deadline for the challenges will be Saturday at Midnight at which point voting will then commence. Voting will end Monday at Midnight.

The time is Eastern Standard Time.

There will be various categories for each contest, such as brushes, textures, hush and cropping. If you wish to suggest a different category please don’t hesitate to do so.

Every Wednesday there will be polls so the members can determine who will be the subject of the weekly challenge.

Each user is able to enter 4 icons and all comments are screened unless they are questions.

All questions should be posted in comments separate from entries.
There is also a points system in place to determine the Superstar of the month and voting for the Icon of the Month. The person who wins Superstar in the month for participation gets to pick the challenge for the beginning of the next month.

Points System

Points are given to monitor who participates and who will end up being the Superstar of the Month and be able to choose a challenge.

Winning first place in either a regular or bonus challenge.

♥ 4 Points
Winning second place in either a regular or bonus challenge.

♥ 3 Points
Winning third place in a regular or bonus challenge.
Each submission in a bonus challenge.
Promoting the community in your profile or journal.
Creating banners or buttons for this community.

♥ 2 Points
Voting in a feedback or challenge poll.
Each icon submitted in a regular challenge.
Winning a special category.

♥ 1 point
Responding to mod posts or discussion posts.

If you do anything to get points such as promoting or creating banners and buttons respond to this post.
