help?
Ok so I signed up for weight watchers online a week ago. I didn't realize I actually signed up for the online version. I have NO idea how to work it and am really not on the computer that much.

Does anyone know how the site works or can recommend a way of weight watchers that i can use everyday w/o sitting on the computer.

I'm so confused.

question
Which WW plan did you go on and why do you think it was most effective for you?

I ask this because I signed up for it the other day and I think I did it as online, and i have NO idea how to work it so I'm probably going to change it.

Hello everyone I am new to this community
I recently joined weightwatchers (last week) and I see everyones progress in the community. I am not sure how much I weigh as of yet I think its between 155-165. I am 5'4. I would like to drop some weight maybe 20-30 pounds. I wish that I could drop it off the parts I want it to get off lol. I have love handles a stomach and yes ugly back fat I just noticed today for some odd reason. My thighs are huge I have big hips. I try to eat right and I excersise for an hour to 2 hours 6 days a week. But If I eat one wrong thing it all gos to my hips and thighs. For some reason I looked really heavy today more then the other days. I noticed alot of cellulite on my thighs and butt. I so can't do this on my own so i thought I would turn to weight watchers. Im hopeing I could get a work out buddy or something I live in Los angeles california near Inglewood. So how is everyone here? I see that the plan has been working for alot of people here. So that keeps me motivated. Sometimes I feel so bad about myself I don't even want to go out anymore. I see all these perfect looking girls on Miss America and the magazines and internet. And I just want to look like that but keep my boobs.

My Journey
So I started WW in 2003. I was hardcore for almost a year. Since then I've been on and off with it. In 2003 I weighed in at 175. I met my goal in 2004 at 149. I gained a few pounds in 2005 but maintained 150s. I started gaining in 2006 and by 2007 I peaked at 185+. Now I weigh 140 most of the time, give or take 5 pounds. I don't have pictures from the very beginning, of my first major loss, but I will take you on a journey through my second time around. (Hopefully there won't be a third trip)

break out the fatty photos )

I never thought I'd have a use for my fat pictures. I don't have many from those times saved. The funny thing is at the time I was rockin' it and I wasn't too concerned with being a size 14. I did stress about dieting and it was hard since I had succeeded with WW once before and went from 175 pounds to 149 then fattened up to 185 but for the most I was "content" with where I was and eating whatever whenever. I still can't believe not the first person ever confronted me about my weight gain. I can't believe I let myself go like that. I always keep faith in weight watchers because it works, anytime you need it to. I will continue to always practice the weight watchers way.

Hi!

All of my friends in real life are tired of hearing about my weight loss progress, but I figured you all would understand. I'm 5'7 and at my heaviest I weighed 190 lbs. Now three years later I'm at 125. I even managed to have a child last July and lose the weight again.

I love weight watchers. It's been the easiest diet for me to ever follow.

I'm not looking to lose any more weight, I just wanted to show someone (who would understand) the progress I've made.

here we go! )

It has been a year since making the decision to go on WW and start running. They were some of the best life changes I have made. Lost 100 lbs because of it. I just turned 35 and dude, life doesn't begin until after you turn 30!:D

Hey Ya'll!
Hey everybody! I’m kinda new to this community. I’ve been watching this community from time to time. I think I might have typed an entry maybe 1-2 years ago. This is such a great community. I like how it’s about losing weight the healthy way!

My heaviest weight was around 240 pounds. I lost about 70 pounds before my wedding on June 30, 2006. I stayed on my diet after the wedding because I was happy with the way I was feeling about myself. I managed to get down to 148 lbs in October. I stopped dieting around November of last year. I have no idea why I fell off the wagon like that. There’s no real reason. I just let myself go. I just stopped watching what I was doing.

Today, I knew that it was time to step on the scale and face the ugly truth. It was pretty obvious that I had gained a lot of weight because I couldn’t find anything that could fit this morning! I looked in the mirror and saw that I had extra junk in my trunk. My boobs are aching everyday! The evil weight scale came up with 173 pounds. I cried just for a minute or less… but I got over it. I told myself that crying wasn’t going to help me lose weight and that it wasn’t too bad.

I am going back on the healthy train starting tomorrow. I’m going to be eating better and working on the elliptical. I want to get down to 135-145 pounds before I start trying for a baby. This will be my first pregnancy. I am excited about trying for a baby—I’ve wanted a baby for so long. It’s exciting that things are starting to fall back into place. This will give me great motivation to get my body in shape so that way things will be easier on the baby and me during the pregnancy.

I would love some LJ friends because I enjoy having buddies who are losing weight and getting healthy together. Add me? I would love it. ♥

I have watched this community for a while, but this is my very first post. I started my Weight Watchers journey in January 2007, after reaching my highest weight ever: 190 lbs. I had delivered my second son in August 2006. When I delivered I was 190 lbs. Immediately following delivery I was 179 lbs. I thought because I was nursing I could eat and eat and eat... whatever I wanted to. Not so. I'm not one of those lucky ladies. I have to be extremely careful of everything that I eat.

From January 2007-October 2007 I lost only 15 lbs. I would start and stop, start and stop Weight Watchers. I hopped back on in October, and have since lost about 25 lbs. However, last month I started to backslide again. I stopped tracking, and I gained four pounds back. I'm now back on Weight Watchers and I feel really great again.

So, I suppose I'll show photos, although I am really nervous...

First time posting progress pics!
Hi there! I've been doing WW since November, but i've been on a plateau of sorts since the new year - i've only dropped 8 lbs or so since January. I need some encouragement, so i'm hoping that posting some progress pics will help.

Background - i had my second baby in September. I did WW after my first child turned 1, and dropped a bunch of weight, then got pregnant again, and gained it all back. I've found losing weight to be much faster and easier the second time, this plateau excepted. :)

SW: 158.5 lbs
CW: 136 lbs
GW: 120 lbs (i'm 5'2!)

PICS! Gratuitous kidlet cuteness included. :) )

25 pounds lost?
Height 5'2
Start: 204
Now: 179
Lost: 25 lbs

I've lost 25 pounds and I don't see a change - at all. My husband says I'm nuts, says he sees a huge change, but I don't. All I see is the same fat girl I've seen for the last six years. Maybe I'm depressed. Your thoughts?

edit - ok I should be more specific by *see* I really mean FEEL, like I seriously think I could use a little therapy! lol

cross posted to _weightwatchers (sorry!)

goal: 135 . . . a long way to go!
