AboutGrantaire- aka R- is a minor character from Victor Hugo's classic novel Les Miserables. He's a member of the ABC Society, though he doesn't believe in anything they say- anything at all, really unless you count what he sees at the bottom of a wine bottle. He's a reprobate, a drunk, and a cynic. We love him anyway.
The community originally started as fanfiction-oriented, but expanded to become a general fan community for the character. Fanfiction and fanart are still very much welcome, along with discussions, announcements, and general news related to R. Slash is welcome- somehwat unavoidable, given the character's story (remember when I said he doesn't believe in anything? That wasn't entirely true. He believes in/is in love with Enjolras, the leader of the ABC, who unfortunately despises him. Angsty fanfic ensues). We ask that you respect each other's OTP, and put a warning if your story/fanart is slashy (not everyone likes it) or contains graphic violence, sex, or other potentially disturbing material. Enjoy your stay.
