All writing levels are welcome, as are all writing styles and all writing forms. Blurbs, stories, poems, lyrics, you name it, we're friendly to it.If you do not wish to receive critique on a piece of yours - say, it's too sensitive a topic - then please put at the bottom of your post "NC" for "no critique". If you want advanced critique, put "AC" at the bottom. If you don't mind the spectrum, feel free to put nothing at all. Now, general rules: 1. This is a safe space for eating disordered people of all walks of life. You may not criticize or otherwise make fun of people because of their: sex, race, religion or spirituality, sexual orientation, appearance, weight, ethnicity, or anything else that would constitute a personal attack. 2. Please don't advertise in the community unless you accompany it by a blurb as you would in a normal post. Advertisements must go on the BOTTOM of the post. 3. Please lj-cut the post if it has to do with: rape or other sexual abuse, excessive violence, food with calories, religion or any other sensitive topic you may think of. Please put why it was cut in the lj-cut text="why this was cut" area. 4. From that note, no proselytising in the community - stories about finding your way are perfectly fine, but again, they must be under an LJ cut. This is for your protection as much as others' - we don't want someone coming in and telling you that your religion is a sham or somesuch thing. 5. Another on the LJ-cut rule: please cut if your post takes up more than 500 pixel's height. If it stretches the page, please also cut it. 6. Be nice to one another! We may not all have the same disorder, but we're all in the same boat, ultimately - trying to survive when society tells us we're mentally insane (as opposed to mentally ill, which we admit we are) and should be locked up. 7. This community is not one for writing self-hate blurbs. Please, don't do that or do that elsewhere. | ||
