As
my main is slowly creeping towards the lvl 70 mark (at 67 atm) I have a couple of questions on my mind I thought you ladies could help this still noobish girl with.
Oh, and yeah, I know my gear and spec are a bit meh, but feel free to ignore XD1. Is there any way to unsocket gems? I got a belt with sockets ("It's got the power... to move you" XD) the first time I was in Ramparts, and put some gems in it, then a couple of levels later I got a green one that was better... Can I take the gems out and put them in another item? It didn't seem to work when I tried, but I might've missed something obvious like a "CLICK HERE TO UNSOCKET GEMS" button... And even if you can't remove them, can I switch the gems that are socketed, if I get a better one I want to use insted?
2. Exactly how much is the (non-epic) flying mount? I've heard it's 800g for training and 100g for mount, which adds up to 900g (if my math skills don't fool me), but people have said it's 1000g total. Is it just to round it up to a nice big number, or is it actually what it costs?
3. I picked Aldor's side to get a nice and shiny sword out of the deal, but I seem to be doing something wrong. I've only got one quest, to get Marks of Kil'Jaeden, which gave me a big whooping 250 rep, and that was it... Am I supposed to go do this a couple of times to get my rep up to get other quests or am I just missing something again?
I'm not too Shattrath savvy, I keep getting lost, and I lag something fiercly while there (512MB of RAM ftl!) so I havn't spent too much time looking for quests and whatnot. Someone care to push me in the right direction? And yes, I
am looking into buying more RAM. We have stores where you can buy computers, printers, modems, external harddrives, cables, and lord knows what, but a little stick of RAM seems to be harder to find -_-
4. This is a bit silly, but I got myself a pair of headphones with a mic, to actually be able to talk with people. Nobody's asked me to get on Vent with them yet, but I figured I'll be lvl 70 soon, and it might be time. Problem is, they did not come with instructions, and I figured that hey, they look simple enough, so no problem. Only that apparently it is... They've got two plugs to connect to the computer, one is greenish and the other one is redish. I currently have the speakers connected to the same greenish slot, and I can get the sound to work with the headphones. But the mic refuses to work, even though I connected it to the slot with the same redish colour. I tried the other colours too, just in case, but no luck. And it doesn't seem to be any other place to plug it in to, but yah, I'm known to miss things. XD Or maybe they're just broken.
I would swallow my pride and go back to the store and ask, but the problem is that I bought it in another city, and I don't think we have those stores here, not that I've noticed at least...
Sorry for the noobness and wall of text (tell me if I should cut it!) and thank you in advance!
