About:This is a community for lady gamers of the MMO, World of Warcraft. Please note that due to incidents involving trolls, membership is now on moderated status. In order to be accepted to the community, please list that you are interested in World of Warcraft somewhere (profile, interests, icon, post). By pressing the Join Community Button you are AGREEING to the rules below, so many sure you review them before you join.

Rules

3 Strikes and You are Out - An outline on our community rule policy.

1. CONTACTING THE MODS

If you have a concern/question about the community, PLEASE e-mail us, DO NOT make a post/comment on the [info]wow_ladies community regarding it. If you see drama unfolding, please contact us about it and make us aware of the situation. Again, please do NOT voice your concerns regarding the community in [info]wow_ladies, but rather in an e-mail- it helps cut down on the potential for drama. Our address is wowladiesmods@gmail.com. If you prefer not to use email to contact us, we can alternatively be reached by leaving a comment on the wowladiesmods public post; comments are screened and IP logging is turned off for privacy reasons, and all [info]wow_ladies moderators can see/respond to all comments in the post.

2. OT POSTS

While we know that the members here don't just play WoW, this IS a community related to the lady gamers of World of Warcraft. Any posts regarding Starcraft or any other game - be it MMO or not - will be deleted. They belong in a community for that game or in a more general lady gamers community. Let's please try to keep this community on topic.

3. COMMENTS

If you make a post in [info]wow_ladies, do NOT disable comments or freeze/screen/delete comments. Any posts that have comments disabled will be deleted. After all, [info]wow_ladies is a community - posts should be made with the intent to discuss.

4. TAGS

Please check the tags and recent posts before creating a new post to make sure the topic is not already being covered or answered. Also, please try your best to apply the most accurate tag to any posts you make. Regular tag request posts will be made by a moderator and you can make your tag request there. Any other time, please submit your requests to us via e-mail (wowladiesmods@gmail.com).

5. TOS

Discussing things that are against Blizzard/World of Warcraft's ToS is now against the rules and any posts along these lines will be deleted. Examples of issues that are against Blizzard/World of Warcraft's ToS include, but are not limited to: gold buying/selling, account sharing/selling/buying, the use of hacks (i.e.a speed increase hack), private servers, etc. Making a post asking for advice on how to deal with knowing a guildmate/guild/friend does one or more of these things is alright. Posting saying how you did one or more of these things is not.

6. BE NICE

If you can't say anything nice, DON'T SAY ANYTHING AT ALL. Causing drama may be entertaining for you, but it isn't for us, and it isn't for those who just want some serious answers to their questions or advice for their problems revolving around WoW. If you show yourself as incapable of acting in a civilized manner toward other members, you will find yourself out of the community.

7. MEN IN THE COMMUNITY

We are not going to stop them from joining. For one, just because someone may be male does not mean they always identify with that gender. Two, some men I know have joined because they have girlfriends/wives in the game or want to get them in the game.

8. NO TROLLING

As defined by the the mods!
