I can't be the only person in the world who wants to play a sporeling.

if there was one race you could choose to be put into WoW as playable, what would it be?

I think goblins would be pretty cool, too. as a neutral faction, with the inability to become anything past neutral with either the horde or alliance.

And um, maybe the ability to pick "what kind" of race you are, like ice troll or forest troll or jungle troll....etc....

I hate to be obvious, but... pandaren... and! Well, most people might find this extremely boring, but I was thinking, since Blizz can't implement them (supposedly) because China has a ban on panda death (or something), they'd be purely exploratory characters. All they can do is gathering professions and exploring. They're immune to attacks, but they can't attack anything or level, they're just... playable audience members, haha. Maybe they can bless or buff stuff, but mostly they just wander around picking flowers and enjoying the view.

On the plus, this'd give folks like me a chance to go in and see Naxx and stuff, maybe even pick a dungeon in progress and lurk around, watching XD XD

Hmm, that exact thought was on a WoW podcast I subscribe to.

Personally, I'd play a broken. They're pretty cool looking.

Goblins would be interesting, but if Blizzard continued with their "no talking with other factions" thing then they'd be pretty meh :-/ High Elves could also be interesting, playing the other side of magic addiction without turning to infernalism ;)

Goblins, yes and Pandarin (I like the exploration gatherer type too =D) yes =)

And I like the Broken as well, I admit, I was disappointed when they made the 'pure' draenei instead of using the Broken.

I bet furbolg are one of the next, though. Especially with Emerald Dream coming up. (don't deny it! It's already there! Just like you could sneak into Caverns of Time, or Outlands, people have already found ways into Emerald dream. Granted, Blizzard has patched those glitches by now, but it's there!

From the first time I set foot in Mana Tombs and MC'd an Ethereal, I wanted to play one. Their casting animations are SO COOL.

A neutral faction, however cool it would be, would never be practical in the game because it would make the current language barrier even more ridiculous and the language barrier is quite necessary.

If there were a third faction, my guild and I decided that we would all reroll murlocs! Ideally, the faction would be murlocs, naga, kobolds, gnolls, and silithid!

I would absolutely love to play a Sporregar, though! I'd also love to play a dryad with the class "bard" added.

I'll put in my vote for Pandaren, Worgen, and Naga. Centaurs and/or the Children of Cenarius would rock pretty hard too. But I rrrrreally would like a Pandaren. I'd just sit around awww-ing at myself all day.
