I know, I know, hunters are a dime a dozen! But with general dissatisfaction with our current guild, fiance & I are looking for a friendly, helpful guild on Whisperwind alliance side. Our guild was not very progressed, but I would hope to be able to at least go to Kara. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know!

What happens when you feed your orphan a Papa Hummel's Old-Fashioned Pet Biscuit?

Does anyone know what Dornaa (the Draenei orphan - not sure if it's the same Hordeside) does in the future that causes the Keepers of Time guardians to attempt to attack/capture her before Zaladormu stops them?

So I can't remember if I heard about Spartan in here or in worldofwarcraft but, I decided to download it (they released a beta version of it. spartanui.com they have a base version that includes spartan and bartender. and an enhanced version that includes SpartanUI, Bartender3, Baud Bag, Big Wigs, Cartographer, ChatMOD, CloseUp, CT_MapMod, CT_RaidAssist, EQCompare, Examiner, FuBar 3.0, FuBar - ClockFu, FuBar - DurabilityFu, FuBar - GuildFu, FuBar - MoneyFu, FuBar - PerformanceFu, MobInfo, Omen2, and Outfitter. Right.... Turns out I'm "that guy" (or gal, as I'm a chick).

I've been lucky as long as we had this boss on farm. I've practiced the simulator dozens of times and had it down pat. But never had to do it in-game. Well, as was destined to happen, I was picked three times tonight. And we wiped again and again. Granted, all the wipes were not my fault, but the three times I got it, we wiped. And we finally gave up without killing him.

So, I come to wow_ladies for hints or tips or suggestions. ANYTHING to make sure I'm not "that guy" the next time.

Like I said, I'm an ace at the simulator. 5, 4, tab 3, tab 3, tab 3, tab 3, repeat. I'm obviously doing something wrong though because my constructs keep reaching the raid. HALP!

When I joined my current guild, I was the second full time holy priest.  Once we started getting further into SSC/TK, and my +heals got to a respectable level, I specced for CoH and the first holy priest kept Imp DS.  Since then, two more holy priests have joined, both CoH.  Since our senior priest had very very close to 100% raid attendance, things were peachy.  She was at every raid, faithfully buffing spirit.  But, last week, the unthinkable occurred: she showed up CoH spec too!  Now we have 4 CoH priests, and no one with DS.

I can't really blame her.  Her healing numbers are lower because of the spec, and while it's easy to say "meters don't matter" it gets old seeing your name at the bottom every raid.  Plus, she ended up burning candles more than the rest of us - 5x Imp DS buffs while the 3 of us buffed 1 or maybe 2 groups with fort.  Little things, but it adds up.  And since she's been in the guild way longer, I would never tell her she needs to go back to her old spec.  But I want my spirit buff! =(

Our raid leader has already said he doesn't care - CoH is such a helpful spell for holy priests, particularly where we are at right now (we're working on archi and council) that the loss of Imp DS is worth it.  But I'm not so sure... it seems silly to have 4 priests and no one with Imp DS.  I've been CoH for a long time.  I love my spec, and would prefer not to change.  But I want to help the raid out too.  I have better attendance than our other priests, who have to miss some raids for school/work - so if anyone is going to respec, it probably makes most sense for it to be me.  What do you think, ladies?

Hey all, just wanted to ask for some help with macros. I've googled the hell out of this but can't seem to find anything specific on Priest specific ones relating to saying random things as you cast things. Like, say I wanted to /s something random whenever I rezzed somebody...how would I go about doing this? I am sort of an r-tard about macros in genral, the only ones I've been able to get to work for me have been the /castsequence which i mostly use for buffs. Or making emote macros, lol. Any advice is helpful.

Thank you so much, ladies, for all your advice on RP... last night I rolled a paladin on Moon Guard, wandered into Stormwind, and suddenly I was role-playing! And I LOVED IT!!!!!!!!

I started off with a basic idea... my paladin has sort of a Joan of Ark thing happening... she's a young girl, 16, and she's felt since she was little like the Light has been calling her to be a paladin. And since she's young and naive, it's a good way for me to get acquainted with RP without having to know all the lore, because there's no way Adelaida would know it.

As I wandered around SW, this shop-keeper named Stephanie wound up talking to me, and before I knew it Adelaida was talking about her sister who raised her, and how her sister wishes she'd give up this crazy idea of being a paladin and just settle down with a husband in Goldshire... it was just so much fun! An it really did happen organically and naturally.

I enjoyed it so much, I'm actually thinking about maybe moving one of my lesser-played alts over to Moon Guard too. Yay!!!!!!!!!

two questions for you lovely ladies~

first: I'm at 225 spell hit, and I have 5 +4 spell hit & +5 spell dmg gems in my gear (armory here). just wondering whether I should change some of them to straight +spell dmg gems or the +spell dmg & stam gems (or any other + & + gems)?

second: we've recently downed Solarian and I fell in love with the idea of the demo lock trinket dropping. just wondering if I should replace my Timbal's Focusing Crystal for it or not, or only for certain encounters? the Solarian one has a bit more spell dmg and adds the resistances, but I do like the guaranteed proc (I srsly see it shoot off every time we're fighting something, sometimes more than once) of the Crystal. so should I equip it all the time, or just for certain fights where my pet would benefit from the added resistance?

I'm brand new to this server and have little money. If you are an alliance tailor on Malorne, would you mind donating some bags to my new toon? They don't have to be fancy netherweave bags, just anything! Even 6 slotters would be amazing.

(The backstory: I rolled a human priest to level up so I could raid with my boyfriend's guild when she hits 70. My main is on a different server, so I obviously can't get any stuff to my new toon. Well, my bf bought me four netherweave bags. I equipped them and then decided that I can't stand being a human. So I rerolled a draenei priest. Now she is bagless and I can't bear to ask my bf for more bags or gold since he already spent around 40g giving them to the other priest.)

This is so funny. Thought I'd share.

So, I was thinking about how evil is basically in the eye of the beholder, right? I mean, like, proper evil, not "RARR I AM SO BAD LOOK AT ME BE BAD! HEY, YOU! OVER THERE! LOOK AT ME TORTURE THIS KITTEN! ISN'T IT JUST SO HORRIBLE!" kind. Kind of like how a lot of the world sees America as evil, while we see a lot of the other parts of the world as evil but us as GOOD, etc. Not to bring up any kind of politics, but it's the first example I could think of.

Anyway.

I was thinking of starting up a little priest, probably Alliance, or possibly a warlock, to preach the good word of Kil'Jaeden and Sargeras. Because after all, what it really comes down to is who's more powerful, right? It's always the tough guys trying to step on the weak ones. Our Demonic masters, however, are willing to grant us power in exchange for some minor favors! They are ever so generous, while the Light tries to fight them to keep them down. Sure, the Naaru might seem like benevolent beigns, but really, why do people follow them? It's simple, because the Naaru are more powerful than them!

Etcetera etcetera.

Blargh, I seem to have rambled and nearly forgot why I was posting this. Anyway. What do you ladies think of the general idea? Think it would get people interacting? Interesting enough to make into a weekly sermon or anything?

You know, I honestly love the Magister's Terrance instance. I really do. But honestly, the design of the instance is making it a little... difficult for me.

I am guilty of having alt-itis. I'm not even going to try to deny that.

I started a rogue, and made her a jewelcrafter and enchanter because my original plan was to use her to help guildies out and such. I've only gotten her to level 24 in SIXTEEN MONTHS because I absolutely despise melee.

I'm going to delete her because I never, ever get on her. The problem I'm running into is I have tons of enchanting mats, jewelcrafting mats, and greens/blues/epics to disenchant (which I know I could sell), but I still want to have a jewelcrafter and/or enchanter on one of my alts.

I have a paladin that is an alchemist and tailor, a mage that is a skinner and herbalist, as well as an upcoming priest and warlock that I haven't decided on yet.

Jewelcrafting seems to be the biggest hole in my guild, because we don't have one. A priest in my guild took up enchanting, but he's not very serious about it and just recently learned to disenchant 65+ items. He has a handful of instance/world drop "recipes", and basically no materials. He doesn't play all that often, and getting things disenchanted is almost like pulling teeth.

Currently my rogue is maxed out (225) on both enchanting and jewelcrafting. My hunter is maxed out on LW and skinning. I'm considering dropping skinning to pick up either jewelcrafting or enchanting.

I know it would be expensive for multiple reasons, but I'm curious if anyone else has a jewelcrafting/enchanting or lw/enchanting or  lw/jewelcrafting mix and how it works if you do.

ETA: I'm considering making my highest alt (my mage) the enchanter/jewelcrafter and my upcoming priest the herbalist/skinner. Thoughts?

For Hallow's End, we really should be allowed to turn into zombies from the wands or whatever (or get a special "dust" we can eat, a la Haiti, and turn zombie).

Then we should be able to dance.

And the dance should be Thriller.

1. Phoenix Hatchling - My favourite and hence he has a fixed spot in my backpack.
2) Azure Whelping - Until PhoePhoe came along, he was a favourite. Now retired comfortably to my Bank.
3) Snowshoe Rabbit - The favourite until Azzy came along. *giggles* Now firm friends with Mr Wiggles in Bank.
4) Black Tabby - The dark sheep of the lot. Currently trying to create rebellion in Bank.
5) Clockwork Robot Toy - As the non organic one, he's being forced to serve the rest of the spoiled brats in Bank.
6) Mr Wiggles - Usually snoring away in the corner in Bank.
7) Willy - When he's not busy feuding with Blacky, he can be found ogling at Snowy.

1) Cenarion Hippogryph - The darling of my flying mounts; though has been quite greenish of late after I created the Flying Machine.
2) Turbo Flying Machine - Fruit of my expensive labours!
4) White War Talbuk - My current land darling! I just love the clop clop clop sounds of his hoofs. Not to mention he's so graceful.
3) Netheray - Quite the ugliest ever, and hence been banished to the depths of the Bank by yours truly. :P
4) Netherdrake - The mentor to baby Azzy; been trying to teach him some basic dragon manners in Bank
5) Swift Pink Hawkstrider - Been trying to lay an egg all these while in my backpack. Maybe I should tell him males don't lay eggs.

Hello ladies =) I have a question about stats.

So I'm a 70 hunter on Burning Blade (PVP), and I love me some PVP, and I have some epic pvp gear from Org, and it's currently what I'm wearing, but I know pvp gear is not always the best for pve and instances/raids. I'm still kinda ignorant when it comes to stats; I know resil + AP is good for PVP, and hit crit + AP is best for PVE. Am I missing anything?

I'm also looking for dungeons that have good hunter drops, can anyone suggest any? It'd be cool if I could be Kara-acceptable someday. =P

I really wish I could keep the Orc kid on Venzul. The kid looks like her, even has the same (shorter) hair style! Plus the thought of my gruff warrior leading a little kid around just amuses me for some reason.

Finally joined instead of just lurking around here, and thought I should introduce myself - Cocoa/Ruth, relative WoW newbie - after grumbling about it for months and months, I finally let my friends talk me into trying the game in February, and I haven't looked back. My main is a 41 gnome mage in wow_dota, which is full of wonderful people ♥ I got my first mount the day before yesterday, which was really exciting, and had a really good PuG for two wings of Scarlet Monastery this afternoon, so it's been a good WoW week for me. I also have altitis, and while I was really lucky on Bronzebeard, I've been less lucky on other servers - I have a few alts on Feathermoon, where most of my friends play, but unfortunately they're all pretty much focused on end-game content, which means my boyfriend and I have been out of luck for lower level instances unless we just want a 70 to run us through (and I honestly enjoy actually completing instances myself, the hard way) - are there any good Alliance-side leveling guilds on Feathermoon? I know the server tends to be weirdly PvP-focused for a RP server.

I also decided to try out the RP side of WoW, and rolled two alts on Horde-side Moon Guard - any good casual RP guilds out there? I've done online and tabletop RP before, but unfortunately don't have the time to get into really involved storylines (mostly because of aforementioned tabletop RPs XD), so I'm more interested in a place to hang-out in-character.

So many things to tell you ladies, but I'll try to keep it short.

*I'm up to 3K gold on our super-secret birthday mission, and I'm feeling a lot better about possibly making my goal by May 8th. Thank you ladies for your farming advice!

*While doing dailies last night, my hubby invited me on our guild's run on Gruul's Lair and Magtheradon's Lair. (Is that his name? Magtheradon? I didn't really notice, I was too busy pooping my pants.) Apparently we have these runs on farm status, so I was able to get some sweet pants from Gruul... and of course I took some screenies for you lovely ladies. After all, it was my first run to both of them.


*After the crazy awesome run, which earned me mad loots and moneys, I went and did the orphan quests. Awesomeness ensued.


*I now have a Peanut the Elekk and Speedy the Turtle to love and hug every day. Squee!

Sidenote: Can anyone tell me why my screen shots look so blurry when I connect to them here? I use basic Paint to capture and manipulate shots, then post them to picturetrail and link them here. Anything in that process killing my clarity? Because I swear my shots are much nicer when I take them.

Am I just lucky, or do I always come across guys who behave like teenage drama queens? I say guys, because I can safely assume that: 1) teenage drama queens don't play WoW; 2) normal females do not behave in the following ways...

Incident 1: I was running around in a lowbie zone. This guy asks me for help. So, I decided to follow him around for a while and heal him. Big mistake. He started demanding stuff, like "HEAL ME!" "Give me an earth shield." I'm like, dude, I know what i'm doing, chill out. The third time he demanded a heal. I healed and left.

Incident 2: I was running on IQD. I saw an ally getting feared, but I ran by fast and didn't see who was fearing him. I turned around just in time to see this little priest getting blasted to oblivion. He whispered, "TY!" Sarcastically, of course. I apologized by saying, "I'm sorry i didn't turn around soon enough to save you." And the little fuck wad had me on ignore.

It's like... wow... grow a pair? If a high level decides to help me out, I would at least be nice and use the word "please" when i want something. I definitely don't bitch if i'm getting killed by an ally and whomever ran by didn't help. I would think it's lame that the other person didn't help, but not enough to bitch then just put the other person on ignore.

I wish my arms can reach through these 13 year old's monitor and strangle their puny little necks.
