HEAR YE, HEAR YE. It's been a bit of a while since our last social event, so here's what I'm proposing:

LOLTASTIC ROLEPLAYING WEEKEND.

So here's the thing, read this guide right here. I'll wait while you do that. Did you read it? Okay, now disregard all the proper Roleplaying tips and unleash your most Mary Sue-ish/terribad RP characters you can muster! If this turns out to be something popular, we can have it often. :D

What: LOLTASTIC ROLEPLAYING WEEKEND w/ DotH!
When: Sat: 12 server PM and Sunday at 1 server PM.
Where: The capital of bad Horde RP, Silvermoon City, in front of the main entrance. Look for the dancing Belf boy in a funny dress.
Who: YOU (and your Edward Cullen belf that should really be undead but MINOR DETAILS, YES??!)  Invite your out-of-guild friends too.
Why?: Because you're really itching to try RP in a safe, silly way? And there's nothing on TV on the weekends, really? :D

My few rules with this event:
- No criticisms on how good/bad the RPing is. Everyone should feel welcome to be terribad RPers :D
- Please try to not go overboard with any sexual themes. As funny as ERP (erotic role play) is, if it's overly offensive, it's not appropriate.
- Have fun :D This is a no-pressure event. If you want to go all out , that's fine. If you want to just keep it simple and roleplay a level 1 gold beggar, that's awesome. ^_^

Also, I'm taking the idea from somewhere else that we should have monthly birthday parties. If you have a January birthday, come to the RP event and we'll sing the Happy Birthday song to you. XD If you can't make it, I'll mail you some caek. Just comment here if you have a January birthday, please. <3 Jan babies.

Kadomi has created some crafting lists for Inscription, Jewelcrafting, and Enchanting on Google Docs. That info can be found here, and I encourage you to speak to her for access to contribute to the lists if you have one of these professions. Anyone can view the lists to see what specific items our crafters have available.

We have more people than just for one group, but not enough for two groups. Group 1 is wildly overpowered so I am going with one healer and I reckon new DPS records will be broken. >.> We have four more DPS spots for group 2, which I will PUG if we can't fill them within guild. No minimum requirements if you want to help group 2, and alts are very welcome. :) Please leave a comment to sign up for group 2.

We've decided to unextend the raid ID so that some of our newer raiders get experience with the instance, so we will be aiming for the same beginning bosses as last raid. However, next week will also be an Ulduar week, giving us two days to extend this new ID and work on the Keepers.

To our newer raiders, make sure you watch the videos for and read up on the encounters. If you have any questions or concerns, please let Kay or I know in-game or comment here.

Hey guys. We're still a couple ladies short of a raid for Ulduar on Saturday. We still need one or two DPS to make ourselves complete, so if you're able to make it, just leave a comment here or on the original post. Thanks!

Time for another farming raid for more shiny gears, so that we can start ICC shortly. I am currently aiming for an ICC start for mid-January, so let's gear up more while we can. :) We will do ToC-10 first, followed by Onyxia. Estimated raid time is about 2 hours, if things go well, and no longer than 3 hours.

Time: Sunday, Jan 3, 11 am server

Minimum requirements are in effect. When in doubt about meeting them, please check with me. Please specify your preferred raid role when signing up.

Time: Saturday, January 2, noon server

This week's raid quest goes back to Naxx, Spider Wing, and should take 10-15 minutes tops. Again, I highly encourage especially our newer raiders to sign up for this for some raid experience and tons of emblems. If we get enough sign-ups, we'll run 2 groups, probably subsequently.

Raids won't run past 12:45 pm, to not run into the Ulduar raid at 1 pm.

Roster(s) will be posted on Friday.

This is the sign-up post for Ulduar  this Saturday, January 2nd at 1 PM server time, lasting about 3 hours.

The raid ID from last time has been extended, so sign-ups will determine whether we start a new ID or continue on to the Keepers. I would suggest reading up on them just to be safe if you decide to sign up (Keepers being Hodir, Thorim, Freya, and Mimiron). Prospective new raiders, please make sure you've read and meet the DotH Raiding Requirements.

When signing up, please make sure you comment with your character's name and the raid role you're signing up for. The roster will be posted no later than Thursday.
