Hello! I just joined the guild yesterday with my new mage, so here's my introduction. :)

Viviel's my first character on the server, though I guess I'm still new to WoW in general since I've only been playing for a few weeks. This is also my first time playing horde, so it's still a bit weird seeing so many friendly horde running around. My main is a level 64 night elf moonkin/resto on Gorefiend (US PvP), though I expect to play Viviel a fair amount since she'll give me a nice break from gank-land.

In real life, I'm a 22-year-old recent graduate who's still trying to decide what on earth to do with her life. I live in the general area of Kansas City, KS; that puts me a couple hours ahead of Bronzebeard server time, though I've always been a night owl, so that'll probably make up for it. Whenever I can get into a profitable mood, I love doing artsy things ranging from graphic art to random crafts to music to radio production/sound editing to whatever.

So yeah, that's a bit about me (and Viviel). Nice to meet you; I only just got here, but I already think I'm going to enjoy being around you ladies and hopefully getting to know you. :)

We keep posting about this and mention this, but I thought I would just put it out there once again. DotH is in need of more tanks that can make our raid times, especially regarding Ulduar. Our progression raids are every second weekend, 1 pm and 10 am respectively, and we're currently 8/13 in Ulduar. However, we have only 2 main-spec tanks, Sawyer and me, and one off-spec tank, Skirting, who are currently tanking in Ulduar. We need more.

Since our last recruitment wave in wow_ladies, we got exactly one tank out of the bunch, which would be Sawyer. We are looking for fresh raiding blood in general, we want to get more of you into our raids. We are predominantly looking for new main spec tanks, not the tank alts of some of our current raiders.

If you are interested at all, talk to me. We can get you geared through Naxx in off-weeks fairly quickly, as all the main-spec tanks are already pimped out. With the next patch, we additionally have the opportunity to get you up to T8 level through heroics. All it takes is regular availability in our raid times, preferably a dual spec with DPS as second spec, and willingness to work with the other tanks when it comes to gear improvements and strategy to kick some butt in our raids.

Please leave a comment here to sign up for Naxx this Friday, July 17. The raid will start at 6:30 ST and last approximately 3 hours. If we still have bosses up, we will finish the following Monday.

As Kikodeght had to drop out, we are now in need of a DPS for today's raid at 10 am server. The invitation is open for all DotHies and Dothfriends to fill that last slot. Alternatively, we could fill in a healer as well, then Rhadamanthys could bring Lothemir again for today.

I won't be able to make Ulduar tomorrow. My mum wants to spend the day together and I won't be home in time. Sorry about this and good luck on Hodir.

Ginne has quests in DKT and OK. Would anyone else be interested in running them at some point soonish?

I was tentatively thinking maybe Monday night, say 4 ST? If we can get a group interested? Narci will be visiting me, so that's 2 DPS (oh god, two mages? what happened to the days of CC? lol)

Time is really open at this end since we both have the week off. Well, other than going to see the new HP movie...

ETA: Maybe we could do the ring of blood or what ever it is while we had a group...? (hopeful eyes)

I am in a bind. For Ulduar, I would like to have Frost Resistance gear for Hodir, but in order to wear two pieces and still remain uncrittable, I need a trinket that Loken drops in reg. Halls of Lightning. Despite many runs through there, it's never dropped. Without it, I will be sitting at def 536, which is sad-making. With it, I'll be at 542, and all is good.

I would like to use Friday to run HoL until he coughs it up. I think if we push it, we can do a run in 30 minutes. Start-time anytime after 8 am server to whenever. It's a level 78+ instance, I don't mind if you're not super-geared, but I need some DPS and a pocket healer. :)
