So while playing Death Knights and exploring Northrend, I've been spamming my screenshot button and taken quite a few. I'm considering putting Eimh the druid into semi-retirement on the theory that I was burning out more on playing a druid than on the game in general. I'm gonna try playing around with some of my lowbie alts to see what I might like to play more. A friend of mine says that there's some exciting changes to druids coming in the new expansion, so if nothing else I'll dust Eimh off around that time and see how it goes.

I've missed the game and DotA so I think goofing around on some lowbie alts for now will be a non-stressful way of returning to the game. :)

today's DH is OHB. that's a no. i've heard H OHB is unspeakably evil and i'm just not up to trying an EVIL heroic today.

today's norm-daily is Mech, which is worth doing b/c it's Mech, and doing the daily gets you some consort/shatar faction, as well as an etherium prison key, which if you don't want it, Jae sure does.

so I really only have time for one heroic today; there's IRL stuff involving going to see the Batman movie with a friend who's about to move very far away to go get his phd, and i come back from that just in time to sign on for gruul's/mags.... which is 5+3 badges so I'll get my uber chest for kara tomorrow X D. which is fine. i was stressed about getting enough badges before g/m today but i just realized, you know, i'm not MT anyway and besides, i tanked mag for 8% with my current gear last time, so just, you know, i'm close, i'll get it soon, that's all. XD.

Okay.  So those of you who missed my going nuts in /g, Naitha hit 70 today (!!!).  Erm--now what do I do?  I have my basic flier and about 200g towards my epic (which isn't a lot).  Now what do I do?  This is my first level 70, so I have no idea what I'm doing.  A big thanks to those of you who offered to show me around dailies--it's much appreciated!

I have Valanos's Longbow sitting on my bank alt, I just haven't equipped it yet.  And I was too excited to spend my last talent point xD but it's going in the 41-point BM talent of my lovely cookie-cutter build. 

Here's what I want to know:

What instances should I run?  What gear upgrades should I shoot for?  How does my spec look?  What I really want is a 'goal'--i.e. get this many of this stat and then run this instance, etc.  I do well with goals.  Now that I've hit 70 and my main goal (leveling) has gone kapoof, I need a new one.  I need to level up mining and enchanting, which I will do when the shininess has worn off and I'm not so sick of running in circles around the Badlands hunting mithril.

ETA:  I just finished reading the wonderful guide to being a 70 here--I have it bookmarked!

Please watch how BRK (in the hunter video) keeps an eye on the orbs coming out of void reaver's head. That's going to be very important to the whole of "not dying" during Void Reaver. We will be doing a strategy like in these videos.

Ok ladies...I really, really want to kill the last boss in regular Sethekk Halls so I can get my Terokk's Quill.  Tried it with a half-PUG today and wiped about 8 million times (Belade can testify to my pain).  So...guild run?  I don't care when; whatever time works for people.

You should be on the very last part of the quest chain before doing this. If you don't have a quest called "Drakefire Amulet" in your log, you're not there yet. Get some groups together this weekend to finish all the BRD parts, if you haven't already.

There's a 10-person cap on this, so if we have more who need to get it done, we might run it twice (if enough people can stay to do it). When you request a space, please let me know the character name and what role you'll be playing in the raid, Sometimes people just say "me!" and I have no idea who they are or what to put them down as. 1. Kara ammo is Bind on Pickup. So you can't get someone to buy it for you and hand it to you. Now I have 7 stacks of arrows to use up... which kind of works, I can waste some time getting my crossbow skill up. Like I'm ever going to use a crossbow X D.

2. Jae + H Shatt Halls = not pretty. We're not going to talk about it. I have little civil to say, except to thank my group for being patient with me.



If I get 10 badges a day on Thurs, Fri, /and/ Saturday, I can get my uuuuuuuber chest that I'll never replace. mwahaha. then i'll be an osm tank, yes. *flex*
