AboutThis community was created as a gathering place for artists, writers and role-players who enjoy the game World of Warcraft, and who enjoy creating fan art and fiction relating to the game and its lore.
Joining this community is moderated because we allow adult content. Please be patient when requesting to join, we'll get to you as quickly as possible.
You are not required to show art in your posts. You are not required to post ABOUT art. This is simply a place for like-minded people to chat about shared interests, share ideas, collaborate on concepts and yes, share art and writing with people who we know will appreciate it.
Feel free to discuss lore, character backstory, creative ideas. Ask for input, share.
The rules are pretty simple.
1. While you are not required to post creative works, if you choose to do so, please put it behind an lj cut.
The reason for this is to be courteous to peoples' already engorged friends lists.
2. Adult works are perfectly fine, hopefully we're all grown-ups here, but if you choose to post adult work, make SURE you put it behind a cut and mark it NSFW (not safe for work).
3. We aren't going to be terribly strict, but try to keep on topic. We're a community focused on the creative and lore-based aspects of the game. There are other places to post about game mechanics, specs, guild drama, etc.
4. Please be nice. Many people are not professional artists or writers and are still learning. They need encouragement, not flames. Constructive criticism is fine, being rude is not. If you are not okay with criticism, please say so when you post a work.
