A friend of mine said she wanted to see some ideas for WOTG, so I'm crossposting from my own LJ. Added a few more, too.
Final Chinese Fantasy: an alternate-world version of Shen Zou. Basically, the gods are not as distant as regular WOTG, and technological advances have gone even further. It's somewhat like the Jade Empire videogame, in which you'll have flying junks along with Imperial ornithopters. And yes, you can use funky chi-powered guns and other weapons as well. Your characters can be anyone from northern mercenaries to bounty hunters to Imperial Mecha-Soldiers.
The Hidden Fortress Redux: what happens when three luckless Wulin brothers get caught up in war, revolution, an awesome hidden fortress, lost gold, and an Invincible Sword Princess? Well, that's up to your characters. Who knows, maybe they'll also get fortune and glory. ;) Joe's swordsman midget seems like he'd fit right in.
The Honorable Golden Lotus Society: whoever or whatever the characters are, it seems like a new clan has set up shop in their town or city. Who are they? What do they want? Is it a Hell Clan cult? Or a dispossesed Western clan that needs help? Either way, because of their unique skills, the Magistrate asks the characters to snoop around and investigate. Of course, there won't be much Kung Fu...unless something goes really wrong or really right.
Pirates of the Bohai Sea: Legend of the Guei Lung: Yes, this is a blatant rip off of "Pirates of the Caribbean"...but with Kung Fu! And maybe more monsters. Either way, the characters are gonna be doing some swashbuckling, WOTG style. Whether they're imperial navy sailors or pirates themselves, they're gonna get caught in lost treasure, chi curses, and monster martial arts duels.
"That's no Great Wall...!": It's a giant terracota warrior! Or maybe a dragon? Well, whatever it is, it seems some Void-corrupted Scholar has decided to create a Kung Fu WMD. Are the characters going to stop it? Destroy it? Keep it for themselves? The Emperor might not be too happy, since he probably wants it for himself, too. And the only thing that can stop the giant McGuffin is another like say, a God Weapon?
Heroes of Kung Fu and the Secret Arts: we will have to wait for the WOTG Companion, but this is a large scale game where the martial and political skills of the characters and players are put to the test. Can't have an epic game without rival kingdoms, rebellious clans, and political infighting.
I am taking some liberties with the setting and rules, but the players are cool with them.

Ok, I now have a copy of the last tournament log. It is rather long so I'm taking email requests.
Also on the EOS press boards Brad has posted some rules for guns. If anyone has some time it'd be cool to test them out.

Here's an interesting note. The base mechanics for WotG makes for a spectacularly lethal and rather realistic combat engine. Here's the rough log, which is rather well short. Also for those who want the last tourney log, gimme a bit, I should be able to run it sometime around the weekend?
As a note, normals have 5 wound points per level. Life sucks without the Kungfu bennes like a River and Chi auras. These will be prosified at some point.
( fight 1 )
21:26:31 [Fallen] Pretty lethal I'd say
21:26:58 [Jonathan] yeah, so the mechanic can be used to play "Lethal" games too
21:27:00 [Jonathan] wow
( Fight 2 )

Hey hey.
Just a note, informal WoTG combat goes on almost every afternoon in the Eos-Press chatroom, just check in if you have your character and Kungfu and start wailing on whomever is on there or something.
Also, I personally am looking to do some kind of prettified battle for posting on RPG.net and probably some other message boards to help spread news about Eos Press around.

I have been trying to keep up a continuous log of the goings-on in the chatroom, but I had a rough weekend and wasn't able to pick up the weekend log. You can probably pick up the Snow and Thunder log too from somewhere, but I don't know where it is. If you do know, please comment. If you have a portion of the log I don't have, please comment. thank you!
