Darkshore?
I'm Horde, and just now am getting spammed in World Defense that Darkshore is under attack.

Does that mean some one is in the troll village trashing the place? O.o

Sounds like it. They'd have an ugly CR too, I believe, if they died.

muahaha.

Yup. Went back to my original server, Medivh.

Why? What happened? (If you don't mind my asking.)

Too hard to find guilds that were able to transition from 10 man to 25 man content, horde side. Medivh's got a larger population and more active, so it's been easier to find guilds in a happier medium.

Yup. Shatterspear Village (the dancing troll village) is considered part of Darkshore. All but the four named NPC's flagged for the Horde and hostile towards the Alliance.

Unless they've changed it since a little before BC came out, while they were hostile, they wouldn't attack the alliance.

I used to farm there constantly. Had my hearth set to winterspring, go sell all my junk I picked up, and put the blues in my bank. I can't even count how many blues I got there in a months time. No purps, though. :(

Well, I've never actually been there myself, so I can't truly say. I've only seen screenshots of the place. Everyone but the four were hostile towards the Alliance indicated by the red name and health bars floating above them. The four named NPCs were flagged as neutral and friendly towards both Alliance and Horde.

Couldn't it also be someone attacking a flagged Hordie in the zone?

No.

Nope, Local/World Defense isn't triggered for when flagged players are attacked - just for when NPCs are, AFAIK.
