Favourite In-Game Music
Let's forget about all the drama and pain for a minute, and think of something about the game that makes us happy.

Who here listens to the in-game music? For those that do, do you have some favourite tracks?

Though most of my characters are Alliance, my favourite tracks are in Horde territory - Thunder Bluff and Eversong Woods. I could sit in TB and AFK all day, just listening to the music loop.

Anyone else?

I listen to it sometimes, but I can only remember the track I hate: the Barrens (and other areas too, but I associate it with the Barrens). I like the Ghostlands because it has part of Sylvanas' lament in it(if I remember correctly).

I love Shattrath City and Eversong Woods, and the new boat/tavern/inn scores make me happy. ^.^

I know this because I've been listening to the song absolutely nonstop.

If you ever go to Shalandis Isle, off of the Ghostlands, two songs will play: the first is one of the classic nightelf themes, as it's a nightelf area, but the second is this beautiful violin/harp-sounding piece called "Shalandis Walk 2" (counterparts of one and three), composed in part by David Arkenstone. It is, by far, my favourite piece in the entire game. :) Sadly, very short, only about a minute long.

I have it if anyone would like an upload.

There's nothing more romantic to me than my boyfriend and I slaughtering all the nightelves in the area, having our characters curl up on the shore, and listening to the lovely music. ;) Our bloodelves can dream!

I like the old Mountains music (the one that plays in Dun Morogh), the music on Azuremyst and in Zangarmarsh. I literally have had the Azuremyst music on loop all day once, without noticing...

The Black Temple music is absolutely fucking amazing.

I'm so crushed that it's not on the BC CD that came with the collector's edition of the expansion.

*sad face* I hear that all the time-that the music is fantastic- but I have yet to find it on the net and i doubt my guild will ever be ready for the BT before it becomes like onyxia or ZG

I don't listen to ingame music much, because I've usually got iTunes cranked up in the background, but I love Sylvanas' Lament of the Highborne. I've actually got a macro to play it ingame so I can listen to it any time I like :)

Same here. I have both 'Lament of the Highborne' and 'Power of the Horde' on macros. I mostly leave the in game music off, unless I have a new toon turning in the necklace that cues up the Lament. I turn on the music, sit, and turn off the UI. Now that's a show.

Ahn'Qiraj. I used to secretly mute vent just to listen to it. also, Terokkar.

I also love the Zandalar island music.

I don't play wow anymore but I still listen to the music~

Personally, I have a soft spot for the Orgrimmar and Stormwind music. Unfortunately, windows hates my computer, so after I reformatted the last time (which was necessary since it stopped recognizing my keyboard and mouse) it won't recognize my sound card, so no happy music for me :(

Damn me clicking on post before I finish typing. It's only 48 seconds long on my soundtrack, but when it kicks in in-game I feel like I could take on anything.

I still love all the Alliance starting area music (and the TB music too). The only music I don't like is the Ironforge music and the old tavern music. They loop the same tune too often and you spend a lot of time there. I wish they'd fix IF to have 'walking around' music like the other cities have (I'm thinking especially of SW, Dar and UC, TB and Org to a lesser extent).
