WoW dreams, and SW rep question...
* I had a dream last night that I was in a little township in WoW, like Goldshire or somewhere, and I talked to a little hunched over crone woman, and she was there because there was some festival going on. And she had items she could sell to you if you had rep or whatever, but then she had a scroll that anyone could have, which gave instructions on how to seek out a world monster, that I think was called "King of All Monsters" (it was supposed to be Godzilla I think, lol). And then she also had a thing that each person could choose two items from her hand. She had in her hand what looked like hairs, or threads. And I choose a white one and a purple one. When I used them from my inventory, the white one turned into a horse mount that was transparent and it was kind of a pale orange/pinkish white color, and it was called "Capricorn"; the purple one turned into something that kind of looked like a transparent purplish lasagna noodle thing, and it was called a "Spectral Phage Mount". Frigging bizarre, right? :D And then I woke up.

* I've been doing SW low level quests all week to get SW rep, so I can get a horse. (I'm working my way through Revered to Exalted). I did everything in Elwynn, Westfall and Lakeshire (excluding cooking quests, because I can't stand those), and ran Deadmines Friday night and Stockades last night. I'm at the point now where I think, other than those couple of cooking quests, I've done all that I can in those areas. All the Darkshire quests, I already did when I was level appropriate for them. So my question is, can you guys think of anything I might be missing? As far as I can figure, all that's left for me is doing runecloth turn-ins, and The Lost Supplies from SoS. I have 4 bubbles of rep to grind through before I'm Exalted, about 5000 points of rep. (Yes, doing all those starter areas got me 3/4 of the way from Revered to Exalted, unbelievable, right?) So if anyone can think of anything I might have missed, let me know.

The Missing Diplomat questline gives a tons of SW rep IIRC, and there are also SW rep quests in Dustwallow Marsh and Desolace.

Hmm, I'll have to check out those. But if I can remember right, when I was originally levelling this toon (she's 56 now, but she was my original main two years ago, so it's been a while), Duskwood was the point where I moved over to SW area questing. So everything from that point on should be done already for her. Thanks for the ideas, though! :)

Another unlikely place is stonetalon mountains. There's also spillover rep that could be helpful.

Try http://www.wowhead.com/?faction=72#quests

Cloth rep? you can get nice rep through the wool/silk/runecloth rep quests.

Otherwise you can wait for the holidays when you can get alliance rep by doing the holiday quests

Yeah, I did one of the Lost Supplies last night and it only gave me 25 rep. Which, for all the riding around to find the box and then having to go back to Nethergarde each time, is too much work for not enough rep for me. So it'll just be runecloth turn-ins I guess, at least those give 75 rep a piece.

Besides, I make quite a bit of gold off the AH this extended weekend by selling all the greens and stacks of linen and wool I got from running Deadmines and Stockades, lol. Circle of life. :)

Any alliance faction quest will give spillover rep. At this point, that may be what you want to do. Runecloth turnins are a pain.

Eh, not so much on the weekend, I was able to get quite a few stacks for not too much. And I saw when I was in the Keep that I'm eligible now for "The First and The Last" quest, so there's that.... (Although after a week of doing quests below my level, having to actually work to kill things will be a pain, lol)
