I think it's more that they thought it would be cool for there to be a sort of storyline going on with Griftah that goes on patch by patch...

The Troll from Lower City has been kicked out of that particular area by Peacekeeper Jadarr basically he was selling a bunch of useless junk that was expensive to a lot of people.

I'm sorry but anyone stupid enough to buy those trinkets without realizing they were a joke deserved to lose their money. Plus, for God's sakes, his name was GRIFTAH.

I bought and mailed a bunch of my friends soap on a rope because it cracked me up. My friend mailed me back one of those love ones. It was a riot.

From henceforth my draenei shaman will be heading up the "Let Griftah back into Shattrath" party. I should start a useless petition somewhere.

Right now he's still in Shat on Live. But yeah he's not in Lower City afaik on the PTRs.

Man, that was the awesomest quest ever though! EVERYONE started throwing up EVERYWHERE and it was just giant fountains of vomit and omg I never laughed so hard at the game.
