my server has ran amuck with tons of new players. the horde and alliance have came to the conclusion to have "the cleansing" we go and camp lowbie towns and try to scare the new players off.

this sounds mean and cruel, and it probably is. but we have become very tired of having server crashes and 50 minute login ques. i was against this at first until this week.

we were in molten core and the lag was so horrific that we couldnt even tell if we were fighting or not. we fight through it, get to domo.. domo down .. "crash". we come back to no ragnoros have to clear through the shit all over and kill domo all over again just to spawn rag.

i said ok its just lag its ok...
today at onyxia she is down to 10% SERVER CRASH. its been down for an hour or so now.

while i feel its cheap and mean to go camp lowbies something has to be done. we all pay money to play this game and we'd like to play it. however the recent inflation of new players coming to this server is a huge mistake. none of us can play, we cant even stay on very long without it dying.

i know for alliance side we are fed up with it. the horde have already started to take action and camp our towns.

i was asked to do the same to the horde. and after my whole weeks raiding has been messed up due to the ques and crashes i think i will.

ok some people dont really know how to read is what im thinking.. but anyways no where in this post was the word "guild" mentioned until now. no where in this post did i say that I did this.

at the end of this post i stated i was asked to do the same to the horde. and after my whole weeks raiding has been messed up due to the ques and crashes i think i will.

and lastly.. if you roll a pvp server expect to get pvped.. be it lowbies, vets, npcs, your gramma , my auntie you will get pvped!

PS: no animals were hurt during the cleansing ;)

EDIT 2 oh and since everyone is so upset about it you can feel free to mail bliz, speak on our forums do whatever you feel you have to do. if it takes a livejournal post full of emotionally charged individuals from all over the world to get them to pay attention more power to you. we've been screaming for 9 months good luck with that.

You're right, everyone does pay to play this game, even those lowbies you're slaughtering because of your selfish belief you are somehow entitled to the server moreso than a low-level character is.

Your problem is with Blizzard, not the damned newbies. Go take your problem up with them, instead of wrecking someone else's day. Killing lowbies isn't going to solve the problem, it's just going to piss off the wrong people for the wrong reasons.

	Do you not see the irony here that you're doing to the lowbies exactly what is being done to you - namely, making it impossible for them to play the game? How exactly is it the new players' fault that blizzard doesn't have enough server capacity? 	the problem isnt that there's not enough player space on all the servers combined the problem is people keep on joining old/high population servers when they could just as easily join a new low pop realm. if lowbie areas are camped they'll realize that high pop servers are not the place to be before they've devoted too much time to their char. 	we had some of the ppl from your server as lvl 1's i gotta say they had the best names "gankmeplz" "cleanseme" it owned.. until my infernal slayed them on accident :( i was bring it out for the players to kill and i guess when you first summon it has a small aoe. poor little gnomes died :( (Reply to this) (Parent)

	I've got a possibility worth considering: maybe all that lag is a result of so many veterans playing non-stop, refusing to let go of their characters for more than an eight hour span. Maybe it is the hardcore players at fault, not the lowbies after all. Maybe, at the very least, a tiny little bit of the blame is shared by all. ahaha! Perish the thought! 	call it want you want, in fact it doesnt matter what you call it.. its a pvp server. all of this was removed when BG came out. the griefing/camping went on every day all day until that. so. as the old saying goes.. dont roll pvp if you dont want to get rolled. (Reply to this) (Parent)(Thread)

	If Blizzard have any sense they'll take the people with this retarded "hunt down the noob" attitude and delete their accounts. Or even better pocket their money and create a bit of Karma with some level 90 evilness to hunt the "holier than thou" down and wipe them off the face of their realm and leave the civilised players to enjoy their game. 	maybe they should.. more space on the server= less lag. but since blizzard completly ignores us.. after all the 500 farmers spamming our realm daily.. i dont think they actually care enough to do stuff to fix it. (Reply to this) (Parent)
