World of Wonder is a community for writers of the fantasy and science-fiction genres to band together and show all the melodramatic realists what we're made of! All kinds of writing in these genres are accepted, including poetry, short-stories, chaptered stories, fanfiction, and even more adult themes as long as you use the special LJ cut option and label it with a warning so members know what they're getting into.

It is open membership right now, but you will have to post something at least once a month or you will be banned. If you are just wanting to read, then it will be up to each individual author as to if you can read their work or not as you will not be a member of world_of_wonder and will only be able to see unprotected entries.

World of Wonder has two sister-communities.

bookwyrmmes is a book club for lovers of the fantasy/sci-fi genres, and

beyond_real is an artist community for the same fans. Please feel free to look into these communities as well!
