 | Words And Deeds: A House/Wilson RPG | The friendship between House and Wilson is something that’s been proven to outlast many ups and downs, many trials and tribulations. But none so testing as when Det. Michael Tritter comes on the scene. What was meant to be a standard clinic consult turns into the beginning of a felony indictment pursuit for House, one that drags Wilson through the dregs and pushes their friendship to the brink of ruin, the very thing House said he didn’t want to break.
Wilson makes a deal with Tritter to save both his own ass and for House’s benefit, though watches House stubbornly battle with both Tritter and his demons surrounding his Vicodin addiction. To the point where he finds House overdosed on Oxycodone, a drug prescribed for Wilson’s cancer patient whom had died earlier that day, on Christmas Eve. House checks himself into rehab while at the same time facing charges of felony.
The night before the disciplinary hearing, Wilson pays House a visit and House apologises to Wilson. Perhaps things are tentatively on the mend between them, though when House is cleared of felony charges but charged with contempt and sentenced to a night in prison and completion of his rehab programme, Wilson slips House a cup of medication from the rehab supervisor, which House greedily gulps down and Wilson realises that the rehab supervisor has been slipping House Vicodin. When asked if his apology was genuine, House tells Wilson ‘Believe what you want’.
Says House to Wilson, “Nothing’s changed.”
It’s now been a month since that night, and House has completed his month with the rehab programme. What becomes of House and Wilson’s friendship remains to be seen…
