Hello Alice fans! I was wondering what everyone's favorite version of "Alice in Wonderland" was?

And I bring an advert.

<*>Once a very long time ago a girl named Alice came to the world of wonder, which she called Wonderland. Such a girl was meant to help a certain member of the world to fight against the Queen of Hearts. Unfortunatly she was unable to find the person who she was meant to help, and unusual thigns began to happen.

<*>Finally after much struggling and a great deal more adventuring then she had ever planned she managed to help bring peace back to the world. She left them without ever knowing how greatly she had impacted the world of wonder. The world that had once held such a seperation from the different races began to blend with what was left of Alice. For a time this change brought peace, but nothing good can last forever.

<*>The Red Queen, the daughter of the Queen of Hearts took over where her wicked mother had left off. She is calm on the outside but cruler then her mother ever was, enslaving most of Wonderland. She then discovered the true purpouse of an ALICE, and that there were others in other worlds. So she sent her son to find one, and there he found Alyson, a girl that had dressed as Alice for halloween. She was taken from the human world and brought to Wonderland. When she discovered where she was Jack gave her only one explination,

This week find my constantly changing Alice variations in old Japan, as a geisha-alongside the old Caterpillar.She is trying to decide which side of the mushroom he is on makes you smaller or larger again. And I enjoyed this so much, I may revisit this style before the series is over...

My,'Many Faces Of Alice' Art Series Begins...

Hi Again All,
I seem to be posting more than usual lately, so I hope I'm not bugging anybody! :)
Nevertheless, I have begun a new 'Many Faces of Alice' series of artworks, where I depict a different Alice for auction(for details, ask away). Last week marked the beginning of the series, with my,'Classic Alice'. I wanted this one to be a more recognizable, victorian, more-like-the-book style Alice.(The colors are a bit softer than this scan portrays)

The next Alice(this week's) is in a 'Grecian Wonderland', and is one of my very few blond ones. I am trying to keep the general blue and white in her outfit, but really stretch the creative legs with everything else. You see, I have so many Alices in my brain, I must get them out somehow! lol
Below is the Grecian Alice, with the ol Cheshire posing as a statue in a toga.

( I will have prints of these the week after the original sells, but if anyone's interested in them, the week I list one, is the week they go, so time in limited on each original piece.)
I am already having a blast making these, and can't wait until the future week's progress, as the versions will get odder and odder! You'll see...

My Easter In Wonderland Work...

Salutations Again Wonderland-heads,
And the title is correct. In my ever on-going quest to create my own Wonderland scenes, here is my latest....Easter themed...
The story:The Queen, having discovered they had no resident Easter Bunny, has appointed The White Rabbit as the premier Easter Rodent of Wonderland. However, this was conditional, as he was commanded, being the new Easter Bunny, to paint every egg in the queendom to match the castle decor.
After the news, Alice breezes through to see what The White Rabbit is up to. And as we can see, he is in no mood for her constant questions and chit-chat, as his neck is on the line.

My Blue Alice & Red Queen Art Duo Set Creation...

Hello Again Wonderland-heads,
With the creation of some new Wonderland themed work, I opted, a usual, to share them with you here. Below are a set, Blue Alice & Red Queen. I make different versions(as some of you well know) of Alice and The Queen, but this is my very first 'teen queen'. I was quite surprised at how much people appriciated her, though I tend to like the older one myself...

In addition, I am currently working on an unusual, Easter-themed Wonderland work, which will be available for auction very soon.(Keep an eye on my artjournal creatornat to see when it will be up for bids, and prints of both the Blue Alice & Red Queen are in my Ebay Art Store, for interested parties)...

Howdy All Wonderlandians,
It's been some time since I posted, and thought it high time I share the work I have done since I was here last....

Here is a commission of a variation on the tea party. The customer wanted a feast/tea party setting, with the Queen carving up a turkey. Note that this is the first time I have done a blonde Alice-as it was requested:

The 2nd is an all watercolor for a customer, where they wanted Alice holding the Chesh, with similar, zany grins, outside of The Wonderland Mental Asylum. The manager, The Mad Hatter, runs the joint, thus his hat being requested on a nail, hanging on the front door:

My Latest Wonderland Works...

Greetings and Salutations!
I finally have created some new Wonderland works, and to begin with, is a custom portrait as a client as Alice, with the Chesh looking a little gentler than my usual crazybrain version. :) The helix, DNA coil on his tail was also requested....

Then there is a larger personal piece I have been working on, off and on now for a month. But it felt like much longer. In between my usual artworks and commissions, I finally found time to finish it.

As you can see, all the tea party members are Alice, done in a nod to Arthur Rackham's pale washes of muted color theme. I wanted to try his techniques with my own style, and here is the result. But, it is to be noted, my Mom came up with the idea for the painting, so some credit goes to her, and the other portion to me for capturing it as art I suppose. Just a portion though!

For all interested parties in my work, for commissions or prints, just give me a shout!

Been a little while since I shared one of my Wonderland works, so here they be...
The first was an auction I had up last week of a very annoyed Alice. This is right about the time she needed a breather from all the looney tunes she was dealing with, and ready to get the heck outta dodge...

Then there's the ol Queenie. She's my latest work. I thought I would show her doing what she does best here-causing senseless distruction. Here we see her smashing blown-glass hearts into pieces...
