I dunno, technically I'm a newbie but I'm not a newbie to slash, or livejournal, or even the Wolfstar cause I've been on the fictionalley boards but I finally joined the LJ community. I'm skyeotalvo on fictionalley too, so that makes things easier!

TO THE GOOD STUFF. I wrote a Wolfstar song. And I't finished ALL BUT ONE WORD which is basically: what year in school did Sirius and Remus get together? Hmmm? Yeah well... I'll record it sometime this week and linkt o it but I'd love feedback and I know some linesneed to be changed. There's one rather vulgar one I'm not too sure about...

Hi there! I'm Adia (kenzia on FAP). I've taken Shaggydogstail's template and added some multi-colour in as requested. As I didn't know what we were really going for, I've mainly just coloured the headers a bit. The rainbow effect didn't look so good so I've used red, black and brown. The template is below the cut, all that needs to be done is add the specific things for each thread (thread number; image etc)

Hello all!

I am thaichicken/luvsharrypotter over at FA. I'm a nerd in high school. Yey! Ummm, hmm. I'm a little bit of a spaz, and I REALLY love foreign languages. Right now I'm taking Latin, and I really hope to take Ancient Greek and American Sign Language next year. Probably I won't do both, though, knowing my mom. I also love math (not geometry so much, though), and I cannot stand history. It drives me crazy. (Thus, I am posting on LJ instead of doing my history homework...)

I really like reading fics, and I would like to write some too, but writing is NOT my strong point. I have one fic over at FA that my friend and I wrote at one in the morning, so it's a little on the weird side... yeah...

The only other thing I have to say is that it is EASTER TODAY!!!! And therefore there should not be two feet of snow all over the ground. *pout* But there is. T_T

I have included a question for every part of the current header page. They are all very specific - it seems pointless to ask if people want to make the header shorter or not when the results of polls one what will need to keep or cut will determine the length anyway.

I found my way here by doing a Remus/Sirius interest search. :)

My name is Adrienne, but to most people on the internet, I go by Branwyhn, which is also my FA name. I'm 17, and have been part of the fandom for five years. Remus/Sirius was the first pairing I ever searched for, way back before I even knew what slash was.

I try to write whenever I can, but lately I haven't had the energy. Within the next couple of weeks or so, I'll be going in for surgery to remove a tumor in my parathyroid. So I probably won't be around much then.

Let's see... can I have a virgin strawberry margarita, please? (I'd ask for something stronger, but I'm not supposed to be drinking. ;D)

Hi all. I have a request--I know that at one point someone linked to the short story of Brokeback Mountain somewhere online. Does anyone know where I can find it? I Googled, but even filtering out the words movie Jake Gyllenhal Heath Ledger and Ang Lee, I still got so many movie reviews, Oscar stuff and parodies, it was impossible to sort through. Please and thank you!
Incidentally...I still haven't seen the movie. I read the story a long time ago, but I don't know wheer I found it.

Does anyone else ever get sick of flames and the uneducated masses? I posted a poem on fictionpress.com (yes, such a high quality site *rolls eyes*) about a dream I had about a kiss, and I got this review:

If you're a guy, why would you care about "sweet sixteen"?
If you're a girl, are you one of those white rich girls who decide they're bisexual just so they can become part of the minority?

In any case, this is a bad poem. The beginning is all right, but it goes downhill after the third line or so.

Now, I don't care that s/he didn't like the poem, but the "decide they're bisexual" part really...ack. I didn't "decide" to be bisexual, it was a long year of confusion before I came to the conclusion.

Footpad is listed as one of the 100 colorful reasons to ship Remus/Sirius over at SCUSA, but how many of you have actually seen him? I posted pictures a while back on my journal, but I don't think I ever posted a link on the Wolfstar thread at FAP.

(Oh, and here's his first appearance in fanfic, for those who have no clue as to what I'm talking about. ^_^ )

You know, I've been meaning to get over here for ages upon ages, and just finally remembered when I was reading over at shaggydogstail's LJ.

Intro, eh. Bet you can't guess my FAP name ;) (that "ter" at the end really throws people off!) But since people are doing the quick and dirty introduction bits....

I'm pretty much 31. I've been a shipper for a year or so? Something like that. I either write R/S, or gen. Not much in between, although I confess I'm working on an R/S --> R/T fic just to prove it can be done and done well. I'm a huge fan of plotty fics, anything with a well-written dominant!Sirius, and art that I can write smut to (nassima seems to be my favorite for that). I have no job at the moment and am hanging in limbo as my post-doc is over and I'm waiting for my first child to be born, which should be just about any day now, but is theoretically supposed to happen November 25. In my time in limbo I'm writing a paper on biodiesel, several fics (in theory), a novel, and movie reviews, as well as frantically trying to adjust my life because I have absolutely no clue what it will be like next month. So yeah, that's me, in a rather irritable sort of way these days!

Mine are probably utter_rubbish, because it's so much fun, Written in the Stars by Dawnatello, because it was one of the first really good fics I read for the pairing (fluffy, but pretty good), and that one scary fic that involved Sirius in the PINK FRILLY APRON. I don't remember anything else about it, except that it was an R/S fic and he had that bloody apron. *is scared*

I'm just wondering, and it's a good way for us to get to know each other a little more (well, you all seem to know each other quite well and I wish I could be in that little "circle" but bloody work stops me from coming on as much as I'd like)... And this is taking a bit of a risk for me, to be honest... I don't usually do things like this. I'm usually the one lurking about in your shadows, so this post is out of the ordinary for myself. But...

Do you go to school? College? University? What do you do? Do you like the number 2.2? (I do, it's such a beautiful number).

I don't know, I don't want to seem nosy (or is it spelt with an e? Spelling mistakes irk me. Make me wince. If I'm the one with the spelling mistake, I get this ZZZZZZZZ noise in my head. Very annoying)... But whatevvvv.

I might just take some time out here to moan and complain and be the grumpy old man I'm destined to be (I actually complained for half an hour a few nights ago about DVD players. Yep, I'm actually a sixteen year old female).

This Friday night I felt it was high time to check out this pub. Mainly because I remembered that on the FA Wolfstar thread someone had recently said something about discussing fics here. I’m going to comment on your entry, lucymaypotter.

I'm PaulaMcG everywhere in the fandom, but I wonder if people around here remember me – or have met me at all, in case they are new on FA. I used to post on FA quite inordinately long fic reviews as well as discussion posts – mainly on threads dealing with Remus or with writing, but I’ve got less active, almost giving up my attempts at genuine discussion and reciprocal reviewing relationships. I got an lj at the beginning of 2005, and I’ve enjoyed discussing both my writing and other people’s fics, and friending some R/S writers among others.

I’m afraid I haven’t posted on the current Wolfstar thread at all. But believe me or not, I’ve followed the discussion. I just haven’t been particularly inspired by the recent questions. Besides, I’ve had rather limited time for the fandom since I started in my new job in August.

Due to the lack of time I’ve concentrated on updating my post-OotP Remus novel, so I’ve been somehow isolated in my small circle of readers, even though I still meet some new readers and writers mainly on lj. All my short stories belong to the one big story of my Sirius-loving Remus’s life, but each of them can be read separately, too. They are all on my lj (and most of them are on TDA), and I make only fic entries.

Here I’ll be interested mainly in such discussion which would be off-topic on the FA thread because its focus on other aspects of Remus’s or Sirius’s characters or lives – or of fics about Remus and/or Sirius – than explicit R/S.

R/S fic discussions?

On our current FA thread, we seemed to be having a fun and interesting discussion about the Shoebox Project. So, I was wondering if perhaps the time has come for the fic discussion group proposed long ago on WS to become a reality?
I think this could be really fun, because there are many really popular R/S fics out there to discuss after all, and it's a great opportunity to discover the ones we might have missed. And of course, since many of our own shipmates are terrific writers themselves, we could very well have an author Q&A on some selections, which could be very interesting for both parties.
Let me know what you think!
Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions?
I was thinking that perhaps we could nominate fics and then have a poll to put them in order, perhaps?

Hi! Just thought I'd drop a line to say I just joined. I'm not on the FA message boards often, but over there I'm still YayCoffee. I'm kind of a new R/S shipper (shoebox_project converted me over the summer ;-)) I adore Remus Lupin, and am attempting to write my first slash fic--yeah, it's the puppies.

Was wandering around eljay, and came across this comm. Y'all seem fantabulous, so... yeah. I apparently suck at introductory posts, so I'll stop this now.
