you have come across this new community, wolf's rating. i absolutely had to create this when i was unable to find a rating community dedicated to the wonderful characters from wolf's rain. and so i started working on this on march 3rd (2005), hoping to one day have an active community for all wolf's rain fans to enjoy. :]


if you're a kind soul who likes to promote, you can use this or one of the other banners available here!



as with everything, there are rules.

[01] read the rules, follow them, and be courteous and thoughtful (i.e. no whining or complaining, this is just for fun afterall. :])
[02] you must join the community in order to have access to post.
[03] fill out all the answers in the survey best as you can.
[04] no wolf's rain cosplay images, or images of you wearing character-specific wolf's rain merchandise. it just keeps voting fair that way. ^_^;
[05] be sure to put all images behind an lj-cut, as well as really long surveys (nothing wrong with long answers, though. ^^).
[06] you will be stamped after ten votes, or after five days if you have at least five votes. if you have any less than five votes i will wait until you get that many before i stamp you. :]
[07] if you're absolutely unhappy with who you have been stamped as, wait one month before re-applying (enough time for people to forget your last application). be sure to tell us you're re-applying and give us the link to you're previous application. after you have been stamped a second time you you may use one or both stamps, but you're only allowed to re-apply once.
[08] you MUST vote for other members that have applied (try at least five). if you have not voted for five by the time i should be stamping you, i will hold on the stamp until you have done so, i.e. i will not stamp you. please understand, it's because the community is new and needs voters. exception: sometimes there are not enough people to vote for. if this is the case with you, and five days have passed, i will stamp you anyway.
[09] to make sure that you have read these rules, include the word "ookami" (means wolf) somewhere in your entry. i'll change this word/phrase from time to time.
[10] have fun! once you have your stamp you can show it off wherever you like. :] i'd also love you forever if you promoted us as we're just starting out and really need new members. <3

note: you can change/customize it if you want as long as 1), the questions and answers don't blend in together. keep the questions bold, make them italic, change them to a different color, or put the answers on a different line, whatever, as long as it makes it easier to read. and 2), you don't take out any questions or change their order.
note #2: if you're using rich text mode to write new entries, you're either going to have to disable it or do the bolding yourself on the questions in order for it to display right. sorry!



[01] you do not have to be stamped to vote. :]
[02] please don't be rude when voting (given, i know).
[03] if an applicant specifies it in their survey, you must vote on two charactres for him/her: one that resembles their personality and one that resembles their appearance. (are you stamped but didn't get voted for appearance? see the note in the "members" section below!)
[06] your vote for appearance can be what you make of it. if you think a person doesn't particularly look like any of the characters, maybe there's something else. facial expression, pose, fashion, anything physical! go with your gut reaction.
[05] please narrow your votes down to one or two choices.
[06] please bold your votes, especially if you mention several characters. it makes it easier for me in the end.
[07] unless he/she matches one character exactly to the point where it's scary, try taking a different perspective if the votes have all been the same. monotony is no fun. ^_^;;
[08] be sure to check the character list i made! i included minor characters, so don't just go with the most popular. i also listed some of their traits for your convinience. ^_^
[09] if possible, include an explanation as to why you voted for a certain character (it can be short). it's just nice to know. :]
