| MOD POST: Updated comm rules regarding warnings |

Some of you may be aware that there has been a lot of metafandom discussion lately about warnings and triggers, and after giving the matter thought, I have updated the community rules to emphasize that posting warnings for triggering issues is mandatory and failure to include the warning tag for the more common triggering elements will result in removal of said post.
To be clear, fics with disturbing content ARE welcome, just be sure to put an appropriate warning in the header, as per the format outlined in the community profile. Anyone not sure whether their fic needs to be warned for, PLEASE ask me.
I will be checking over the fics already posted, most of which I am certain already have warnings because you guys are awesome like that, just to be sure. Those few fics without warning, I will contact the author to give them a chance to add a warning (I can't edit entries so I can't just add one like I can add tags) before anything is done to the entry. If people would like to check their own fics just to be sure, that would be really helpful.
I very much appreciate your cooperation with this serious issue. If anyone needs clarification about why this is important, please let me know. I have put up a link in the comm profile to an essay that explains triggers very well, but it is also very graphic and some people may not be up to reading it, so I am happy to paraphrase if needed.
