The end of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince left us with many questions. What are the remaining Horcruxes? How does Harry intend to destroy them, and ultimately defeat Lord Voldemort? Will the Order be able to carry on without Dumbledore? And will the students be returning to Hogwarts again in the coming year?

Wizard's Chess is an Harry Potter RPG set in the Trio's 7th year, and we hope to answer all these questions. Join us as Harry starts his quest for the remaining Horcruxes, and the Second Wizarding War truly begins.

Hogwarts has reopened due to the sheer forcefulness of Minerva McGonagall. All students are welcome to return, and we hope that you do. Please be cautious, though. In these dark times, we must all prepare ourselves for the growing evil. Hogwarts cannot be the same as it was before. The older students will be having an extra class for the purpose of learning to fend off unwanted attacks, and to carefully advance your own. It will go beyond what has been learned in Defense Against the Dark Arts, taking a more practical approach, with more than just defense.

The Death Eaters are on the move more now than ever. Soon they will break out their imprisoned brethren, and begin a full scale war on the wizarding and muggle world alike. No one will be free from their devastation. Pureblooded wizards will be given the choice to join them or die. They should be so lucky, as no one else will get this chance.

The Order, now led by Minerva McGonagall, is doing their best to curb the efforts of the Death Eaters. McGonagall keeps receiving anonymous tips detailing the latest Death Eater ploy. The first few she has ignored, but when they turned out to be true, she has come to place a small amount of trust in them. She has her suspicions as to who they're from, but she won't tell.

The story can only advance from here. What will come of all this?
