| About: | Every month there will be a new challenge/prompt/theme, and the names of the regular and guest judges associated with that month's challenge will be provided. You are welcome to submit a fic of any length, but please hide your work behind a cut, to make the page easier to view. Any characters/pairings are welcome, as long as they are HP-related. When responding to a prompt, please indicate the name of the prompt, and/or the month in the tags. Non-prompt works are welcome - the more the merrier! Just make sure what you submit fits in with the overall "Wizarding Idol" theme. Fake cuts are welcome. Postings should include the following headings: Title - the title of your fic Author - that would be you Characters/Pairings - main characters or pairings, besides the judges & host(s) Word Count - total words, excluding title Warnings - anything here that might squick someone Rating - use your best judgement on this - anything adult should be under a cut Tags: - challenge month, challenge name REGULAR HOST: Professor Flitwick - tiny, squeaky voice, excitable, squees like a fangirl when he is pleased. REGULAR JUDGES (in character): Lavender Brown - a bit oblivious, focussed on herself, doesn't pay too much attention unless a Gryffindor is trying out. Closest likeness = Paula Minerva McGonagall - tough but fair, does not sugar-coat things, but is not rude or hurtful. Closest likeness = Simon Severus Snape - snarky, judgemental, says it how he sees it, doesn't want his time wasted, blunt, crass, rude, favours those from the House of Slytherin. Closest likeness = Simon Sorting Hat - Speaks in rhyme, gives advice, always pleasant. Closest likeness = Randy Professor Sinistra - Practical, provides guidance, relates everything to the planets or the heavens. Closest likeness = Randy Sybill Trelawny - Hasn't got a clue, is "out there" in her own world, predicts doom and gloom and the early demise of contestants, occasionally falls into a trance.
