This community is for reviewing books about witchcraft and witches, be they fictitional books or non-fiction. This is a moderated community. Currently, we are not accepting membership applications for any LJ less than a year old. Inquiries may be directed to the moderator.
Review Format:
Subject line:: Please title your post either
FICTION : Name of Book by Author's Name Review or
NON-FICTION : Name of Book by Author's Name
Content:: Your personal opinion of the book. This may include more information about the genre of the book (If fiction, is it YA? Horror? Etc... If non-fiction, is it historical? Does it pertain to a specific path?). It should also include your opinion of the writing quality, coherency, historical accuracy, uniqueness of ideas, fantasy elements, plot articulation, organization, etc... whatever is appropriate to the book you are reviewing.
Spoilers:: Please keep all spoilers under an LJ-Cut!!
Rating::
A - This book is of excellent quality.
B - This book is of good quality.
C - This book is of satisfactory quality.
D - This book is of less-than satisfactory quality.
F - This was a flat out awful book.

A Note on Nonfiction Reviews:: It is rather well known that there is no one definition of 'witch.' Therefore, for the purpose of this community, all paths of witchcraft will be exqually honored and welcome here. Books reviews of all kinds are welcome here as well: the history of witchcraft, spellbook reviews, Wiccan/Pagan books, etc.
A Note on Fiction Reviews:: Witchcraft is all about enchantment, and its themes span many genres. It is prevalent in Young Adult literature, Horror, Fantasy, and Fairytale genres, among others. If your book has prevalent themes of magic and the supernatural, it is welcome here.
