We have a bunch of prospective members sitting in limbo because they cannot seem to spot the bit in the profile about commenting in a certain spot.

And don't bitch at me if you didn't know about it. It's been repeatedly mentioned for two weeks. Stuff happens even if you're too busy to come here and see what's going on. We're not going to wait for you to catch up. So if you find yourself dropped, just reapply and don't whine.

Also, if you DID reply to the check-in and find yourself dropped, please reapply and thwap me on the head. I already accidentally deleted one member. But I had to delete like 300 people, so my eyes were getting kinda wonky.

Occasional cleanouts

Just so you guys know, occasionally I go through the member list and remove those journals that are no longer active (the names with the black line through them). So if your journal ever becomes temporarily deleted and you find yourself removed from this community once you reactivate your journal, that's why. Just reapply and I'll put you back on the members list. But it seems silly to me to have all those inactive members, so every now and then, I delete them.

(I'm leaving this post public so anyone that gets deleted from membership can still read it.)

If you do not like this show, please do not join if you're just going to stir up trouble. You find us getting rather angry with you (especially me - I do not suffer fools or trolls gladly. I snap, and very quickly I might add). We rather not experience that headache - especially those of us who help maintain this LJ. I may be trained in the usage of the fire extinguisher but I try not to use it. Further, if you have decided that you no longer like this show and plan on staying just to stir up trouble among the members that like this show... Please leave. We could all do without the resulting headaches.

I have had thoughts in turning Lucia's story into a fan manga, I wonder if anyone would be interested in reading it if I would. It would have nine main chapters and one extra chapter for extras. They'd be called Chapter White, Chapter Red, Chapter Orange, Chapter Yellow, Chapter Green, Chapter Blue, Chapter Indigo, Chapter Violet and Chapter Black. Chapter Pink is the extras chapter. The manga would be named Prism. It is based on the UK/IT/SE versions of the cartoon.

Lucia is a fairly normal girl with abnormal parents (an overstressed wedding planner and a catering/restaurant owner who is a TV chef on Wednesdays.) that likes artistic and rythmnic gymnastics. It's maybe the two only things she's good at (she was born with an agile body). However she never competes because her shyness gives her stage fright, much to the annoyance of her gymnastics teacher and coach, Mimi. One day on the way home Lucia is greeted by her former classmate Bloom. (Whom she almost never used to talk to, due to her shyness.) Lucia is also a person that's painfully curious so she follows with Kiko and Bloom and watch a fight between Stella and Knut. When Bloom intervenes a couple of ghouls separate Bloom and Lucia, Lucia is cornered by three ghouls and when they jump at her she involunteeringly creates a shield around herself. Bloom meanwhile gets attacked by Knut and "explodes" killing the ghouls and knocking out Knut, she also kills Lucia's ghouls. Stella approaches them and tells them that they got magic.

In the beginning Lucia refuses to believe in magic, much less that she has it. But Stella's powerful manners overwhelms her and she finds herself admitting that it's true. That's the beginning of a lot of adventures. Lucia will meet the animal loving and gentle Ortensia, self-centred but insecure Amaryl, spoiled but loyal and loving Melia, powerful and emotional Priscilla. Lucia, Ortensia and Melia forms a bond of friendship while Amaryl and Priscilla are rivals, but not enemies.

The enemies are in the form of the seven great demons that served Darkar along with the three great witches. The seven demons were sealed to the world that they tried to conquer, each guarding a piece of the Prism, the core of the world they currently are in.

There are also boys from Fonterossa, specialists that specialises in magic and becoming wizards (Sky's group focus on the more honest heroic art of melee fighting). Draco the silent and serious, who has a dry streak of humour. Leo who is the comic relief, that always mentions stories about his extensive family. Orion who is somewhat of a playboy with his sights set on Lucia, unfortunately for him, he's one of the few that she can say HELL NO! to. I know that at least one of them will have a large axe as their weapon.

Lucia will also meet Sencha Fukuya, a batty old lady with relations to the mirror-woman. Anyway, mirror-woman introduces herself as Nephele, one of the seven nymphs, and tells Lucia that she needs to get the Prism to the temple at the world's core before the seal on the violet demon is broken. Lucia might not act or look it, but she has hidden drive to help someone that asks her for help, no matter what, so Lucia agrees. Unfortunately it is much harder than she thought, since she must fight or at least trick the seven great demons for each of their shards, to make matters worse, the only way to get the shard is to kill them, which in turn releases the shards from their bodies. Since Lucia's powers doesn't do anything more than temporarily blind them and giving her the ability of flight, she relies on her friends to help her.

Because Lucia, Ortensia and Melia keeps showing up with battle injuries, Palladium gets suspicious. When he asks Lucia during one of their lessons that's supposed to make it easier for her to control magic, she tells him everything after extracting a holy pledge not to tell anyone or stop them. Palladium becomes their adult guardian in confirming stories of training injuries and whatnot whenever someone else is suspicious.

I wont tell you anymore, but do you think that I should make it a manga? Or should I leave it? Sorry if this is a lenghty post. By the way, Lucia is not a princess or royal of the world she's trying to save, but she's the only one capable of seeing Nephele and opening the mirror portals to the world. (Portals are defensive, i.e. light magic.) Feel free to ask any questions you might have.

Doll availability?

I have a niece who's really into the Winx Club and for Christmas she wants two of the Winx dolls she doesn't own. Brandon (Sky? I don't get this double name thing as I've only watched a handful of episodes with her myself) and Layla the newer fairy in green. I can't seem to find them at Wal*Mart, Target, K-Mart or Toys R Us and I ran into this community and figured it would be the best place to ask. Are they not available until next year or something? I'd appreciate any information on this. Also, are there dolls of the other two witches? I actually like to watch the show when those three are on. Stormy kicks ass.

I resized the image after coloring to make her actual pixie size. As you can guess by the outfit color, her name is Belle. She's not paired with anyone yet. And she's kind of sisters with Amore. Yes, another pixie of love. And of course, her favorite pasttime is having one of the Winx girls read her fairy tales - and her chief favorite is (big surprise here) Beauty and the Beast. In fact, she plans on having Discordia help her recreate the story - just to see who gets paired with who. Amore's not too keen on this idea though.

Delete if this is annoying but I would like to... Be a pain in the back and ask you a little thing. Well, not such a little thing.

I would like, if you don't mind, someone to make an avatar, of any character ( Ok... Not Lord Darkar, please ) 100x100 to put on a forum of mine. And if is not asking much (even though I bet that I'm asking much ) a not so big picture of the same character to put on my sig, on the same forum. With or without text.

I don't have photoshop, and I'm starting to doubt if my computer would survive if I put a photoshop on it.

I know this is just how the writing went but- -Icy, to me, was the kind of gal who'd bow to nobody. She wanted the universe. Now, she's back for revenge, but thinks Darkar is the greatest thing since sliced ice. (Pardon the horrible pun.)

Has anyone else seen the new pixie magic doll comercial? I saw it when watching Cartoon Network and doing geometry.It starts by showing the animations of the winx's transformations then continues to show the dolls and the pixies. It was pretty cool. (Edit: I Just saw it for the third time.)

And now I'll start a discussion. Which doll is your favorite doll and why?

Mine is the origianal Tecna because I like her short hair (it's so much better than the long hair. No tangles!) and I don't like the eyelashes on the pixie magic kind.

I had a question for people. I know the various colorable pics that can be gained fromt eh main winx club site have been posted by someone here before. I jsut can't remember who or what post the links were put in. I was going through my winx pics yesterday, and I'm missing quite a few that I know I remember having before, and the only ones I can find on the winx site now are the newer ones.

Can anyone please help me with this? I'd really appreciate it! :)
