What Is Winsister?
Winsister is the genre of Supernatural fan fiction that turns one or both Winchester brothers into girls. It also includes the addition of a sister(s) to the Winchester family. The most common Winsister story is Dean with a sister, usually Samantha or, on occasion, an original female character.

The sister could be a female version of one of the boys or a completely different shade of Winchester. Bring both of the boys and dream up a sister for them to share. Or make both of the boys girls. Use canon characters: Jess, Sarah, Jo, Meg, etc. Or create original characters. Make it one sister or six. Anything goes.

The most common Winsister story you'll find is about an incestuous relationship between the two siblings. It makes for a good alternative to those who don't like slash (Wincest) or those who like to explore different aspects of the Wincest pairing.

The Winsister stories you'll find here include both Dean + Sister and Sam + Sister and most of them will include incestuous relationships between the two. There WILL be gen here as well so if incest isn't your cup of tea, then hopefully you'll find something to your liking.

RULES

1. No Flaming. If you find the incest fic gross/totally wrong/what the hell was this person thinking when they wrote this, don't go and comment to say 'You're sick for writing that Dean had sex with his sister!' or 'Sam and girl!Dean would never do that unless Dean was originally boy!Dean who got TURNED into a girl'.

2. No pimping other communities. This community is just for winsister/wincest* fic. Promote your community somewhere else.

3. LJ-Cuts Are Love. Love them. Use them.

4. We're not Gossip Girls. News of the actors' personal lives isn't allowed here. Your own journal and other communities are for this.

5. Label clearly If your post contains spoilers for a future episode, please state it in an author's note. If it contains incest, violence, rape, etc, please label it clearly.

6. Use the appropriate rating system. To make it easier, please use G/PG/PG-13/R/NC-17. If you use 'adult', it will be classified under R or NC-17.

7. Request posts (screencaps, images, songs, quotes, uploads/downloads, 'who made this...?') aren't allowed. Please go to [info]spn_request for that.

8. Only certain genres are allowed. Het/Femmeslash/Gen are the only things allowed. If you do have slash in the story, that's fine, but please note it clearly.

9. Genderswap isn't allowed. By genderswap I mean 'Dean and/or Sam got hit by a curse and are turned into girls'. That's not what 'winsister' means.

10. Tags. You can search the community by TAGS. Please use the tag system when posting.

11. Only certain media is allowed. We accept Fan Fiction, Graphics, Music Videos, and Fan Mixes.
