A good Chianti??

Hello everyone!  Newbie to the community but avid wine drinker!!

I'm looking for a good Chianti.  Was in Italy a few years ago and had the best (their house) Chianti, but can't find a decent one here in the states.  Any suggestions?

Thanks!

I like Monte Antico. It's not labeled as Chianti, but that is basically what it is. It's a Tuscan Sangiovese that retail for around $10/bottle and has wide distribution.

My boyfriend swears by "Castello D'Albola". Its available here in Canada so it may also be available in the US.

That's the problem with Italian wine. Anonymous Italian wine by the carafe always seems to be great in Italy. Cheap bottled Italian wine over here is almost always awful. Let me know if you find the answer.

Haven't actually tried a Chianti yet but I received a bottle over the holidays... Will let you know after we taste it.
