Every year for my birthday, I like to make a set of icons to give to you. I think I've done it every year since I first started posting icons at chiffonwings 5 years ago. It almost didn't happen this year, but I finally got my icons to cooperate the other night so here you go! I'm really, really happy with the way some of these came out. My birthday is tomorrow, but I'm posting them today because I'm having a tea party tomorrow and I'll be busy getting ready for it. :)

I never intended to make this many icons. I was just going to make the first ten, and then go on to something else, but then I decided to make the quote icons, and then the other trailer came out and I decided I wanted to make some icons from that too! I think Twilight has really reawakened my icon muse... I kind of lost it for a while, but I really had a lot of fun making these and experimenting with different styles. I'm really excited about Breaking Dawn, but kind of nervous too. What if my favorite characters get hurt? How is it going to end? *worries*

First, I would like to thank autumnjoy, a dear, talented friend, for welcoming me aboard! I'm really excited to be here. I mainly make icons from Lord of the Rings, period costume dramas, and old artwork, like this post. Last weekend, I had a rather insane burst of inspiration and made 200 icons from Sir Lawrence Alma-Tadema's paintings, so I've decided to split them up into four posts and post one a week.
