| Onto Borrowed Time: A Wilson/Amber Fanmix |

One of my smaller projects for the summer break is to create three to four fanmixes, each one dealing with certain aspects of season four of House. The first one is a Wilson/Amber fanmix. A part of me wishes I could say this fanmix is optimistic and fluff-filled... but it isn't. (There does need to be some fluff for this ship, though.) It mostly deals with the events that occurred during the two-part season finale. Annnd... I do hope you enjoy it. :)

Disclaimer: Lies, all lies. Just the creation of my twisted mind and very little else.
Summary: Ed’s putting out lab supplies for his scientific principles classes when David walks over. “I really like the whole thing about decay,” he says suddenly, and Ed knocks over a bunsen burner as he looks up. David seems suddenly embarrassed and his pale skin flushes pink. “We never learned about that in my old classes, I mean. I just think it’s kind of cool. They always are all about how matter never goes away but it does, you know?”
“It’s not really the matter that’s decaying,” Ed says, automatically correcting the misconception even though he doesn’t mean to. “Your mind’s in the right place but it’s the activity, not the element itself. There’s still something there.”
Notes: This is the product of a weekend very sick and hardly sleeping. I can't explain where it came from, or why, or where it will ever go. Consider it a strange fever dream if you would like. Major spoilers for "Histories", but I can't imagine there's anyone in fandom who hasn't seen that episode already. Unbetaed; I've read it through myself, but all errors are my own.
