I have some holiday-related fun from Minekura-sensei for you. This is her X-mas 2002 special, which can be found on her website, entitled "Christmas Eve Tragedy." It's mostly comedy, however. It's not exclusively Wild Adapter-themed, but if you're also a fan of her other works, there's definitely something in here for everybody!

This is the WA Volume 2 side story that is available on Minekura-sensei's web site; it's the last WA-centric story on her site, at least right now (sob). This was mostly done for practice so the wording is clunky in many places and I'm not confident everything is 100% accurate, but I thought I would share it. This one's called "Waiting Room: Kasai's Case."

What is the latest installment of W.A. and how often does a new istallment come out? I feel like I found W.A., read all that was available, and then nothing has happened since - and that was months ago!

Since the rules still stated that the manga hadn't been licensed in English, it was clear an update was in order. Specifically, rules #3 and #10 have been updated. They now read:

3. While the manga has now been licensed in English, please be aware that not every fan has read every volume. Please use cut tags when discussing the last two volumes released in English, and any chapters (dice) that have not yet been translated and released in English.

10. If posting scanlations, CD files, scanned official artwork, or anything of that nature, f-lock the posts to the community. If posting to request any of the above, f-lock the post. You may not request scanlations of any work that has been officially released in English. This community is on moderated status. Requests and posts violating this rule will be rejected.

Read all of the rules before submitting a post. While I will continue to include the reason a post was rejected when rejecting it, you'll save us both time and effort if you don't submit posts that violate the rules in the first place.

A couple of people had said they hadn't seen a translation for the extras on the 4th drama CD, so here's my version. Many thanks to the fine folks over at japanese who helped me out with some of the wording/interpretation.

I AM EXTREMELY SORRY FOR THE REALLY LONG DELAY. A-Also, the comm is dead, o-orz. ... That said, uh. I don't have any new transcriptions, OTL.

I'm posting! Just to say that, uh, I am, in fact, very much alive (IRL, at least, orz), but haven't been able to get around to transcribing lately due to some RL circumstances, one of which consists of a lack of stable-enough-to-post Internet connectivity. Currently bumming off public wireless at Panera lulz.

IN SUMMARY, I-I will try my best to kick up the pace again and get all of the songs done. I am deeply grateful for your patience and continued support. Even your rotten tomatoes, orz.

I happened to stop by Minekura-sensei's blog today, and it seems the poor thing has been in the hospital recently. There wasn't much detail, but it seems the pain she was having might have been the result of complications/scar tissue from the operation she had last year. Although it seems it isn't life-threatening, she forsees regular visits to the hospital for the near future.

Due to this situation, she announced she will be taking a break from this month's Chara, so there will be no new WA chapter. She did say, however, that the next issue (which should be released at the end of August) is supposed to have a color center as well as a report on the 6th drama CD, and she'll do her best to devote herself to that.

No word (as far as I could tell) on how/if this will affect her other publications.

Just thought people would like to know and join me in wishing her a speedy recovery~

I was looking at Minekura's Blog, and translating it, and she was writing about WA, so I thought that since I was already expending the effort, I would post it here with the translation so that other people could read. It might be kind of spoiler-y...I think, but well, I guess that's the only warning I can say?
