	The wiimote/wheel's fun and good for novelty, but I think the lack of control and rapid-fast responsiveness will make it hard for courses like Rainbow Road 8\| I've switched to the gc controller a few days ago and have never looked back, haha. (Reply to this)(Thread)

	I agree about the lack of controll. I got together with some friends...we rotated around using the wheel, a GC controller, the remote and nunchuck, and the classic controller. The other three options all worked better than the wheel. (Reply to this)(Parent)

	I absolutely LOVE using the Wii Wheel... offline, XD! It's fun to try and master something different, and I've been able to cruise along with the wheel to win first place in the Grand Prix modes, but I know my limits. I could never use the wheel, and have the precise control to win in online battles. (Reply to this)(Thread)

	I am in the same boat as you. I use the wheel for fun, but the wiimote and nunchuck for Online stuff.... and 150cc grand prix. :/ (Reply to this)(Parent)

	I switch between the GC wavebird and the classic controller. I used the wheel for the first week or so, but after realizing that it was making me lose more matches than win, then I had to make the switch (Reply to this)(Thread)

	which do you prefer? the classic control or the GCN control? ive always had a GCN control and thus didnt bother buying a classic control but if its a lot better i might consider it (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	I always use the wii wheel (in automatic) :o I tried using the gamecube controller but personally I get better times with the wheel. Maybe I just suck with manual drifting.. :p (Reply to this)

	I've tried both the wheel and the controller and prefer the wheel. I find it is excellent for getting round sharp corners even in the last instance and actually prefer it for courses like rainbow road and maple treeway, just depends on your preference and taking time to get comfortable with things I guess. 	i've only ever used the wii wheel. i guess i should try the other methods. i like to use automatic for when i play online because of that blasted rainbow road everyone always seems to pick! but i used manual when i play :) (Reply to this)
