Fond Fair Memories:
- Consuming almost an entire bottle of rum and passing out for a while in some coats. Then I ate a really nice cheeseburger.
- Punctuating the space between 'warm' and 'leatherette' with a power drill as I danced.
- Voltaire saw my ding-dong and was repulsed.
- The kids in the Slipknot shirts who got really into Fad Gadget because of me.
- The kinship and love I feel for my friends. Best in NYC, would hang out again. A++.
- Some dogs I saw.

Photos from the fair part 1:

Johnny is so happy to be in a place.

Decorations! Johnny wanted to do a puppet act with the skeleton, but the skeleton didn't want to go onstage; he had a boner. Thanks, John.

Drinking! Thank god for booze.

Dancing! Thank god for deathpunk and early electronic mix tapes.

And Drop Dead Magazine! That vinyl sold like hotcakes. Little music hotcakes that probably taste terrible.

Mister Bone Jangles!

I was incredibly wasted by this point. High five!

Hug the fuck out of 'em, Phillipe Amina!

Collapsing drunk people.

Fad Gadget was one of the high points of the event for me. I haven't seen folks using power tools in their sets since Stendhal broke up.

Woops. I should say your band, Din Glorious. Too bad you weren't miked. Should have used the lampshade as a megaphone. I did appreciate the use of the plastic skeleton's thighbones as drum sticks.

Thank you! We really blew, actually, since I wasn't miked and we were all pretty drunk. We have some decent stuff on our website and myspace if you're interested:

I'll check it out. The spectacle alone was worth it for me. Kyle rolling on the floor with the saxophone, you with that electric drill ... it was fun and you definitely weren't taking yourselves too seriously.

We never do! The only thing we're serious about is having a good time.

I was quite sorry I missed you. I am tired, which is, perhaps, why I can't seem to find a place on your site or your myspace which shows upcoming shows...but I'd love to come see you guys.
