| About: | Remember the good old days of the rec.arts.drwho Quotefile? Saw a fellow Whovian posting something that was actually witty and funny and not a flame, and shouted "QUOTEFILE!" only to realise that you weren't on Usenet anymore? Well, this community exists to solve that problem.
So, yup. If you spot a funny or otherwise quoteworthy thing that somehow relates to Doctor Who (and its spinoffs and other associated stuff), do share the lolz and post it here. Basically, it's like ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif) metaquotes, but for Doctor Who fandom.
Do ask permission if it's from a locked post, though. And don't fight, damn it. One way to keep the fights from happening is to consider whether whatever you just laughed at would be funny to others--don't quote yourself or just someone whose views on character X you agree with in a particular flamewar, please (unless, of course, they do so in an exceptionally funny way). This is meant to be about teh funneh. Ohhyes. |
