Rika: Welcome to the Higurashi/Umineko No Naku Koro Ni Dressing Room RP, ni-pa~!
Hanyuu: Hau~ I'm so excited! But Rika, what is a "dressing room rp?"
Rika: Mii~ it's a free form rp where people can play any Higurashi or Umineko character they wish. There will be multiples of everyone and even AU versions!
Hanyuu: Hau au au, I still don't understand.
Dark!Rika: It doesn't matter. Probably no one will play you anyway.
Hanyuu: Hau!!! I want to be played!
Rika: Everyone, please have fun and remember to treat other roleplayers with respect!

Hello and welcome to the Higurashi/Umineko dressing room! This is a free-form rp for all Higurashi and Umineko characters. Characters from other rps are perfectly welcome and encouraged! Character journals created specifically for this rp are of course accepted as well. Be prepared to see multiples of many characters. Seven Renas? Ten Keiichis? Fifteen Mions?! We want them all! Just as long as those characters are Higurashi or Umineko related.

Feel free to be as crazy with your characters as you want. There are no limits here, so any AU is welcome. Want to play Keiichi as a girl? Rika as a superhero? What about an AU version of Satoshi who never “transferred out?” Any of these scenarios are perfectly fine!

This is meant to be a fun experience so please be courteous to your fellow rpers. If you ever encounter a problem please see the mod contacts below and we’ll try and sort it out for you.

THE RULES

Each time a new world is created, these are the rules that world must follow...

1. First and foresmost because I believe it to be the most important: Be kind to your fellow members! Don't yell at someone if they're characterization differs from yours! This is a crack RP and with this comes many different interpretations.
2. This community is limited to Higurashi and Umineko characters only. This also includes extra characters or arcs featured in the manga or game versions.
3. There will be spoilers in this rp, especially for Umineko. I am only going to warn you of this once and it is your responsibilty to either avoid spoilers (this can be done by simply skipping over spoiler characters' posts) or deal with them.
4. This rp is crack, but please try to keep in character. This means that the character is at least somewhat recognisable as that character. AU is of course acceptable but please keep this in mind. Again, please no fighting over characterizations.
5. This rp is yaoi/yuri/het friendly.
6. Please mark anything adult.
7. ~~Wank~~, ~~drama~~, ~~fighting~~. Just don't do it. If you have a problem with a player, please talk to the mods.
8. Have fun!
