This is a group to abandon all your ideas about what you like, and (gasp) let someone else choose for you. By joining this group you are agreeing to put aside preconceived notions of what is hip and just listen. Just put the cd in your player and listen. The instructions are very simple. Someone creates a mixtape. Then they post information about the mixtape. You can talk about genres, moods, feels, themes, reasons you made it, etc, etc. However, do not put any artist names or titles in the entry. Describe, do not name. Anyone who is intrigued by the entry will comment that they would like a copy. And then a copy will be sent to them. Don't just take and take, the point is to share. I'm not kicking anyone out, this isnt a rule. It's just that if everyone takes and nobody gives, well, nobody would ever make a mixtape. And we would be wasting our time.
