whedonosity. This icon contest community celebrates the collected works of Joss Whedon, otherwise known as God. Or "creepy guy standing under a tree and staring into my bedroom window." It really depends on who you are and what Joss means to you.
Each week, an overall theme or motif will be announced, such as "love", or "wisdom", or "sorrow". Or any of the other emotions my shrink says I am afraid to express. Members can enter icons using images from Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Firefly, or any other Whedon creation. (So, yes, Buffy the Movie and Toy Story count. X-Men does not, since Joss ended up with only one of his lines still in the movie.)

"How do I communicate the theme?" you ask. Well, aren't you just the nosy one? Okay, okay. Answer: It's up to you. You may find a lyric or quote that expresses the theme. Or you might use images so strong that they need no text. It's your decision - as long as your icon represents the theme.
Details:
1) Post all entries in this journal.
2) Entries are due by each Friday, 7PM EST.
3) Voting occurs between Friday, 8PM EST and Sunday, 5PM EST. To vote, leave a comment with your 1st, 2nd, and 3rd choices.
4) The winners and new theme will be posted by Sunday, 8PM EST.
Rules:
1) One entry per person.
2) Icons must follow LJ guidelines: 40k and 100x100 or less.
3) Only members of the community can vote in each week's challenge.
4) Do not vote for your own icon.
5) Don't vote for an icon just because your friend made it. That's something that losers do. Losers and co-dependants. You are neither of those things.
