While i in no way advocate you leaving us, There are many comms that have totally copied been made based on whedonland.
The ones I am a member at arespnland, twelvecolonies, himymland, fullerverse and merlin_land
The main point of this post is to point out our affiliates : here
If you want to affiliate, I accept Whedon-related comms or "land" comms. :D
However i totally advocate checking out lots of those comms cos they are awesome!
I promise this is my last update this week. HONEST.

Whedonland is a team community that is based off of the harrypotter school/sorting communities. There are four teams, which for the most part you can choose to join. You will be encouraged to participate in activities from all four fandoms (and dr horrible). This community is not for the new-to-lj folk. Please have some basic concepts of how communities are run if you want to apply.
WHAT GOES ON:
Whedonland is not your average community. We offer a wide variety of activities, games, and contests for the members here. Most of these opportunities also feature a point reward for your team when you participate. The team with the most points will be awarded the WIN. So, please be active members; for the most part each week has so many contests and events, you won’t be able to complete everything, but it’s great if you can try your best to enter at least one challenge a week! We also place a high emphasis to getting to know folk. We have a community chat running at all times, plus discussions/parties!

1. Please answer all the questions, there aren't many and they aren't too hard!
2. Your journal must be at least 1 month old, and show signs of use. We want people that know their way around lj at least.
3. Apply only if you've seen at least two whedon shows, you don't have to have seen all four, but it's helpful! teams are : Firefly, Buffy, Angel and Dollhouse
4. Once you are given a team, you will be invited to this community, and will need to accept the invitation here
5. Please read through the Rules here before signing up - so you know what you're getting yourself into.
