I am looking for a book that I read about five years ago, and I'm just now remembering it. I'm pretty sure it was about a girl who smoked mercury poisoning, and she became very sick, and she lived on a cliff by the sea. I can't remember the title or the author, but I am very desperate to find this book! Does it sound familiar?

She actually smoked the mercury poison somehow. Maybe I am remembering it wrong but I could have sworn that's what the summary said.
