Hey there!

I'm one of the duty managers at a student bar in the town I live in. The general dress code is "uniform shirt with black pants" and finally, now I'm a manager, I'm allowed to wear actual clothes and not the horrible uniform tshirts they make the normal bartenders wear. So I thought I'd jazz it up a wee bit.

I'm doing this because I have found that people are "getting" the concept of the community and I am having to reject very few posts that come in. ok bc not everyone is a member of off_wiwt, i am setting forth some rules for whatiworetoday regarding harry potter.

harry potter is not to be discussed on whatiworetoday at all. go to off_wiwt for that.
more importantly: SPOILERS WILL NOT BE TOLERATED AT ALL. please notify us of spoilers in carrie's post here: . if it is your post, screen the comment. let us know the usernames and we will ban them. by we i mean carrie because me and rachel are hiding from the internet until we read it ourselves.

tomorrow you can start talking about it UNDER LJ-CUTS on off_wiwt. the lj-cuts need to say what page number it is spoiled up to, or if it's the whole book. personally, the way i would do it is say divide the books into chapters or pages and discuss only up to that point in each post. maybe 3 posts would do it, with the last one being about the whole book, but you guys can do what you want, i'll be at work all day reading on my breaks :( but lets kind of try to keep harry potter posts to a minimum.


MAY I SAY HOW FUCKING RIDICULOUS IT IS THAT SO MANY POSTS NEED TO BE MADE ON THE SAME TOPIC (although this one is rather redudant i thought it was good to reach out to the non-off_wiwt people). it would be funny if it wasn't so fucking maddening and rude and just plain stupid of people.

srsly though i doubt anyone who cares about harry potter is on the internet anymore and if you are reading this post my suggestion is to stop reading whatiworetoday until you're done with the book because though we're trying to be good mods in this situation it's difficult especially when we don't want things to be spoiled for us (except for carrie. but don't listen to carrie saying she doesn't care about harry potter because she does! i just convinced her to try to read the series. it was hard work but i did it.)
